So Pakman illuminated me that this is about a Huffington Post article about skipping Thanksgiving for environmental reasons and then they tried to bring it back because we're experiencing a pandemic.

The War on Thanksgiving is still going on in my circle. Most of us don't want to do it for a variety of reasons (the obvious ones; it's a celebration of genocide and excess eating, COVID19, family drama makers, etc.) but we have holdouts (mainly the older folks) who insist on having it for old folks reasons (mainly tradition over anything else). Fortunately for me I'm working that day and get to miss it all.
