What would you ask for if you had a chance to have a concept turned into a new animated Series? Click on the poll or write your own below..........

A number of Animated Films:
Cybertron: Origin Story of how The Transformers came to be.

The Ark: The story of the Ark and how it ended up on Earth.

G1: The story of the Transformers on Earth.

The Great War: The story of the final show down

Rise of The Maximals: Story of how Autobots became Maximals.

Beast Wars: The story of how what happened during the beast wars...

Each film would be condensed story, but would offer same animation and look so if watch it would be like one huge film

Out of the options available, I picked "Continue Beast Wars-Beast Machines", which itself is already set in a version of G1 continuity. Plus I actually liked the Transtech designs (I always looked at them as part of the "natural evolution" of the Transformer race), and seeing classic TF characters thrown into the mix with the newer ones would have yielded all sorts of storytelling possibilities.

Personally I wouldn't mind a re-boot of G1 using the IDW "ion" story line with the animation done in the style as the IDW comics.

I can't stress enough how much I would want a new G1 cartoon (one not done in the weird style of the current animated series.) The original series had little continuity and ,lets face it, with hindsigt, wasn't all that good (except for the movie), however the Marvel comics and now the IDW comics show that these characters can be used to tell great stories. I'm a big fan of G1 and feel a bit short chaged that we have never really got to see a decent animates series featuring what, in esence, were the real transformers.

I'd like an show that takes place between season 2 of G1 and the movie. That always makes the best material for the comics and it'd be great as an show with as many original voices as possible.

They should of stuck with Animated. There was so much more to it.

Other than that, I want a show with a new concept. Maybe a show where each episode focuses a different character in a different timeline. But each episode having different animation.

They should do the cgi g1, either that or a prequel series to beast wars or a sequel to beast machines.

I didnt like TAnimated. Just didnt like the concept the stories the character designs. Idk i just feel they should do more with the cgi they used in BW and BM im sure it would look even better now then it did 8-10 years ago.

Or maybe a spin-off series of my favorite BW transformer Dinobot. Supposedly he lived. They could do it before he even gets to prehistoric earth.

Just throwing out ideas

Actually, after checking the copy of the TF:A Allspark Almanac I just got, I'd kind of like to see the earlier concepts for "Transformers Heroes" that were reworked into "Transformers Animated".

I bet it had more villians in it. A lot if people didn't seem to like that aspect of the show. Season 2 & 3 got heavy decepticon action.

I'm hoping the next TF show has something to do with the upcoming War For Cybertron game, based on Hasbro's talk of the game setting up canon for future storylines. I wouldn't mind seeing toys of these:
Optimus Prime

Megatron

Starscream

These have a very close likeness to the War Within designs, fair to say the game is set in the past. Prime is ****

I'd like a sPinoff cartoon of the movies, to be honest. Bay's made some stupid decisions but I like the idea of Autobot's working with the Military.

Well, looks like Orci & Kurtzman aren't done with the TF franchise just yet - they're working on the new series: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/news/e3i8decb5ca03594f57b1ce2fa84a0d2c9d

Kurtzman and Orci, who are working on a "Star Trek" sequel and the Daniel Craig starrer "Cowboys and Aliens" on the feature side, continue to serve as consulting producers on "Fringe" and are executive producers on CBS/CBS Studios' "Hawaii 5-0," which they co-wrote with Peter Lenkov, and on the "Transformers" CG-animated series for upcoming Hasbro/Discovery channel the Hub.
There's also now a title for the series and at least one voice actor cast:

TRANSFORMERS: PRIME

Debuting later this fall Hasbro in conjunction with Discovery Communications Inc will release a new Transformers cartoon on a new TV channel currently called Discovery Kids called Transformers: Prime.

Jeffrey Combs will be the voice of Ratchet, a very well known character in the Transformers world. There are 26 episodes scheduled for the first season
The show's name seems kinda plain (then again, there's "Transformers Animated"), but given that WFC is supposed to be canon for future storylines, and WFC Optimus' profile seems to indicate that he's not yet leader of the Autobots when the game begins (http://gameinformer.com/b/features/...ybertron-character-profile-optimus-prime.aspx), I suppose it's possible that this could be a tie-in (especially with toys in the works for WFC, which is something that Hasbro normally wouldn't do unless they had bigger plans for this continuity). Also having a CG series would be logical IF it is indeed a follow-up to WFC.

I also wonder if this means Peter Cullen might possibly again voice Optimus (since he is in the game).

Definitely feel theres some Transtech design to war of cybertron game, Transtech for those who dont know was meant to be a sequel to the beast wars - beast machines series, which was scrapped. But if you look up concepts of Transtech you can definitely see the similarities
Cheetor01.jpg

^This one was supposed to be for a character called Cheetor, as you can see from the War Of Cybertron trailer, they use a similar design for bumblebee. I definitely think they used transtech designs and messed them with g1 characters to create these designs and the game. Wonder if they would mention it or have they?

Actually, I look at Transtech Cheetor and think more of Animated Blurr; of course, Hasbro has managed to recycle some design concepts for Transtech in some of the subsequent lines (Transtech Megatron had an influence on the Armada version, for one).

But RID I guess gave Hasbro a cheaper alternative than making a new line from the keel up - the line even in its Japanese iteration is about 75 percent repaints of G2 and Beast Wars/Beast Machines molds - plus the fan base largely hated "Beast Machines" (not me, though) and this would have been a follow-up to that (fans also tend to hate seeing their beloved characters so radically redesigned regardless of whatever the in-story logic is, but [thankfully, IMO] that really doesn't mean much to Hasbro these days.)

I still prefer these designs over the existing Movie versions, though - I don't give a damn how weird they look.

A love triangle between Shockwave, Starscream and Megatron

A Decepticon who transforms into a nice hat and prays on the dandy man-about-town

An episode where Prime and Megatron end the war by realising that humans really ARE too dumb to live and join forces to conquer Earth
