BvS If Batman has a sidekick, Who do you want it to be?

Which sidekick do you think will be part of the Batfamily?

  • Barbara Gordon (as Batgirl)

  • Dick Grayson (as Nightwing)

  • Carrie Kelly (as Robin)

  • Dick Grayson (as Robin)

  • Tim Drake (Robin/Red Robin)

  • Jason Todd (as Robin)

  • Kate Kane (Batwoman)

  • Cassandra Caine

  • Jason Todd (as Red Hood)

  • Barbara Gordon (as Oracle)

  • Other.... Say it.

what if Nightwing has a cowl like Red Robin?

I love RR's cowl, but keep the mask on Nightwing. It's what makes him Nightwing. Well that and the bird sign too.

If we're just throwing out ideas, I wouldn't mind being Batman's sidekick in this movie.

Nightwing as this is supposed to be a seasoned Batman and not one in his "Prime".

Is it still true that he's still going to be a myth? Because if it is, I don't see how he can have a sidekick and still be a myth. Unless the sidekick is Alfred or Oracle.

In the BvS movie? none. No room for a sidekick.

It's going to be heavily inspired by TDKR, which heavily featured a Robin. I realize the whole movie won't be inspired by TDKR, but Batman's arc could be similar to his arc in TDKR. They could replace Carrie Kelly with Tim Drake and Oliver Queen with Dick Grayson, and things wouldn't have to feel overstuffed.

I think people are being to literal with this "inspired by TDKR" thing.

All that says to me is that this is an older, maybe more mean spirited and jaded Batman who has lost a little bit of hope in humanity. And obviously the armour.

I don't think there will be specific plot points or characters from it.

That said i like the idea of Dick having left Bruce to become his own man, perhaps in Bludhaven. Maybe they fell out over Bruce's increasing weariness and more extreme methods?

Before either were announced as being involved, both Affleck and Snyder stated how much they would love to make specifically a The Dark Knight Returns adaptation. So i think there's a good chance that there will be specific plot points from the story, maybe not specific characters, but i do think it's likely that a Robin or Nightwing will be mentioned or will show up.

and besides, Dick becoming Nightwing and Jason dying are both considered to be canon.

Tim Drake, with Jason already dead and Dick already Nightwing. But in a solo film.

I think there should be a Batman film universe that ties into the DCCU but mainly just deals with Gotham's villains and the Batfamily.

There can be a Nightwing movie, a Joker movie, a Catwoman movie, and a Tim Drake Robin movie spun off the first Batfleck movie.

I like the idea of WB/DC making some villain movies. DC has really interesting villains to work with.

A strained partnership with Dick; a freshly murdered Jason; and Tim waiting in the wings.

Legion of Doom movie would be great......could set up the battle against Justice League
if they're doing a Sinister Six movie, why not do a Legion of Doom movie?
Lex Luthor
The Joker
The Cheetah
Deathstroke
Gorilla Grodd
Black Manta
Metallo

None. Bruce's arc in this film should be about learning to trust people again, something he should learn from Clark.

His character should begin estranged from Dick, who has flown the nest as Nightwing, and Jason having died.

His character should end (after talking to Clark about Dick and Jason, and having been saved and helped by Clark) with him trying to contact Dick, and an easter egg hinting at Tim Drake (perhaps a kid trying to hack into the bat-computer security).

Dick as Nightwing in Blüdhaven - Refer to him like in TDKR. But have Alfred ask "Talk to Dick lately?" and Bruce saying "You know I haven't".

Todd - Dead

Barbara - Paralyzed and doing the Oracle thing against Bruce's will. Have her Hack into Bruce's systems and help him without his consent

And maybe after he learns to trust people again because of Clark, have Drake show up at his doorstep having deduced his identity. - Post-credits teaser?

Dick should already be Nightwing by this point, Jason is "dead", and introduce Tim Drake later on.

Oracle should also be around. in fact, i think it would be cool to have a scene in BvS where Bruce and Oracle radio each other. you don't see Oracle but you hear her voice when she's talking to Bruce.

That's about right. i want to see Nightwing in the next Batman solo film. Maybe we could get some kind of confirmation at the end of BvS that Bruce has some what patched up his relationship with Dick.
