I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. It's February 1st. For the last two weeks, it's been anywhere between fifty and sixty degrees outside.

What the hell is going on?

It's lulling you in to a false sense of security and then BAM! It'll be the ice age all over that mother.

Hell, the coldest it's gotten so far this season was thirty degrees. I've never experienced anything like this. It's usually frighteningly cold this time of year.

I'm in Columbus, about an hour North of Boom. The temperature will go down to 28-30 degrees for a few days, and then back up to 55-60, as in the last few days. Lots of rain and then snow for a day, and then more rain. It's killing my sinuses.

We finally got a few days of sun. The last two weeks have been nothing but clouds and rain. We've only gotten snow once so far this winter.

Pittsburgh has been the same funny thing is the snowfall total was 4" above normal but all the freeze thaw has made it feel like we never got any.

My mom and brother went to the zoo today, and all the animals are out, even the ones that should be hibernating. The winter is apparently trolling the animals too. It's 70 degrees in Norfolk, VA.

I'm loving the weather right now. I'm in Pennsylvania and it's 63 F and sunny. :yay:

Same situation here in Chicago. It is unbelievable.

Meteorologists were predicting a horrible winter for us (record snowfalls and low temps) and it has been nothing like that.

It's weather by Sybil!

Yet.

I'm in Illinois and our winters used to be awesome and snow-filled but lately have been quite lame.

Green Christmas. :(

Now it alternates between snow and 20 degrees and then like, 50 degrees a few days later.

Yeah. Still getting our normal snow fall totals but the snow melts very quickly. I freakin' love it. After the past two winters we've had we deserve to have a mild winter.

To all you who are desperate for winter and snow...you can always move to Alaska and Canada. They get plenty of it! :cwink:

I live in Florida and the temperature is like a roller coaster. I keep getting a fever.

I live in Cincinnati, as well. It's definitely been pretty weird. I was expecting some really bad snowfalls and low temperatures. Instead, it's not so bad to walk out of the house without a coat or even a jacket. Very strange, indeed. However, I wish it could just be a normal winter because I'm sick of listening to all of the kooks going around saying "It's warm in the winter time! This means the end of the world!"

Its been in the 50s and 60s in North Carolina in the foothills. Which compared to last year is about 20-30 degrees different if not more. I love it!:)

I hope we get at least one badass snowfall before all is said and done. I actually enjoy winter and the snow.

Me, too. And it would be even better now that I'm always home and don't really have to go anywhere. I'd love to be able to sit inside and watch the snow fall, cozy with some soup, watching the news and a few movies. Yeah, that's the kind of winter I like.

February 1st, and it was 65 degrees in northeast Georgia.

I live about an hour away from you, down by Lexington...it's in the 50's and raining right now.

I wonder if this means we're going to have a blisteringly hot summer.

Me too. Just one big snowstorm would be fine with me.

I was so excited when it snowed a week or two back. This weather is nice though. I dread the summer months.
