In which case, how is that not the average Joe consumer's fault? If you don't take care to understand a $60 purchase, what are you doing? This hasn't been hidden. In fact, they have gone out of their way to make this fact known. Are consumers not suppose to take any responsibility for their purchase?
Also, this seems like a really false argument. Mainly do to the fact that if you aren't following this project closely, how would you notice the difference? If you aren't following this from the start, you wouldn't know the difference. So your entire argument is pointless. The only way to know the difference, is to have actually paid enough attention from the start. They have also advertised using PS4 and Xbox One footage on television and the PS YT page.
No, I don't see it as average Joe's fault in the least, but that should be obvious from my previous two posts.
How could you possibly know what people will and won't notice? Just assuming no one will notice the drop in quality from what's advertised to the final product isn't enough to write my argument off -because that's all it is, your assumption.
To make my point completely on-the-nose so there's no further misunderstanding: When Thundercrack said a lot people will assume that what they see is what the console games will look like, you responded by calling those people idiots -they are not idiots.
I'd continue, but I'll end up repeating myself again. Evidently you seem to think my argument is pointless to begin with anyway, so carrying on would be...pointless.
