Side by side, the Witcher Series:

Yup, Xbox footage is fine. Hilarious how people were legit ready to hang themselves over worry.

I'm sure Kojima will bury everyone with MGSVTPP, but Witcher 3 is gonna be stellar still.
1. MGSVTPP
2. Arkham Knight
3. Witcher 3

I think, they will sell 5-6 million copies of the game. And it will be like double amount of copies sold of Witcher 2.

I'd be curious to see how things wind up, honestly. There's been been some fears about Kojima's departure negatively affecting MGSV's sales because people may be afraid that the game won't have the classic Kojima polish. But, then again there's the flip side of this being Kojima's final MGS game.

I think Arkham Knight might edge all three out by virtue of it being Batman. But, I'd be really interesting in seeing how the sales turn out for all three games.

I, personally, just want to see CDPR be successful. It was one of the factors that got me to pre-order the Collector's Edition of The Witcher 2 for 360...and why I continue to support them now. They're about as pro-consumer a company can be in this market, and I just want that to be rewarded ontop of the good work they produce.

I would make love to that bog-witch's face and then knock a wall out and drag it inside.

I wonder how much the PC version has been downgraded from this?

Quite a bit, as it stands.
You could also call it a shift in visual design and art style (from desatured and sharp to more vibrant and soft), but essentially it's dialing back to what the lowest common denominator (a.k.a. the XBone) can handle and then maybe add a few bells and whistles to the versions of the other slighty more powerful and the other way more powerful platform. But never too much, because parity and you absolutely cannot have one version look vastly superior compared to the other ones.

CDPRED should have stuck with developing the game for the most capable platform first and then go from there, like it was the case with porting TW2 to the XBOX360, but apparently multiplatform game development works the exact other way around these days.

At least there's mods on the PC, and, who knows, maybe someone will find a way to reintroduce the visual design and art style like in those early bits and pieces (which I prefer as well since it fits way better with the mature tone) to the game at a later point.

And there's still a chance (a very slim one though) for another official Enhanced Edition, like it was the case with TW1 and TW2. We'll see.

No doubt the game will still be quite the looker on some insane i7 SLI 980GTX 16GBDDR4 SSD set up, despite all of this.

There will be no Enhanced Edition. They already said so. And the idea of developing two games at the same time is ridiculous. The game wouldn't have come out for another couple of years or would have lost a lot of content.

Very glad to see the glowing reviews. Even if they were expected.

Gah I can't believe the release is almost here. It feels like a life time ago that I posted that first teaser image.

Let's gooooooo! C'mon Tuesday.

Yeah, it's kinda nuts how soon we are from the 19th...yet so very far away it feels.

There's always so many fears. People read "occasional frame rate issues" and completely ignore "10/10 essential", think the problem will destroy their gaming experience.

Those idiots, who canceled pre-orders after hearing all those rumors, are ******ed beyond repair. They basically spit into Kojima's face in time of struggle, if rumors are true. Instead of supporting the man. Besides, I'd understand if they already fired him and now they're going to release it without Kojima. But Konami stated several times that Kojima is working hard on the game and will finish it according to the plan.

I think Arkham Knight might edge all three out by virtue of it being Batman. But, I'd be really interesting in seeing how the sales turn out for all three games.
Arkham Knight will be a fantastic game. I wouldn't judge the quality or importance of a game by sales. People buy a lot of garbage.

Witcher 3 will be successful. I don't doubt it.

So IGN's review spoils that this is the [blackout]end of Geralt's story.[/blackout]

Was it already announced by the developers that this would be [blackout]the last game with Geralt? I would have liked to go into the game without that knowledge.[/blackout]
