Jericho gives AJ any more of a rub, AJ's gonna owe him $50.
I'm so happy to see people responding positively to Shane's return. I've always liked Shane McMahon. I enjoyed him as a personality, and as a wrestler he's the best of any of the McMahons, could probably have made an actual go of it if he'd had the inclination to fully dedicate himself to it. And I have missed him since he chose to leave, to the point where not often, but occasionally I did think it'd be cool to see him on WWE TV again. So while I could have understood people rolling their eyes at another McMahon saga, I was very happy to hear of his return.
I also think this is a really interesting story they've set up too. With Shane addressing the problems actually facing the company head-on, blurring the line between reality and drama the way the best storylines do, and proposing that he has the means to right the ship (and maybe end the tired heel authority figure shtick for at least a good long time) is a great way to have people invested in him winning. But to then put him against The Undertaker at WrestleMania is a great twist, as it means that for once we are invested in The Undertaker losing at Mania... unthinkable! And so perhaps it's a good thing the streak is over and it's not totally unthinkable that Shane could win. Off the top of my head, my guess is Undertaker destroys him, but something happens to give him a change of heart at the last gasp, and he lies down and lets Shane pin him for the sake of WWE's future, making the heroic sacrifice before walking off into the sunset. Kudos to WWE for injecting a compelling story into the mix that feels like a genuine spanner in the works no one saw coming.
I've always liked Shane as well. Looking back, and I mentioned this when Vince and Steph re-did their version of rigging the Rumble from 98, Shane is the better talker. He knows how to be a little cocky, while also coming across as a smart ass who knows what they're talking about. He rarely comes across as though he is acting, which goes a long way in adding some credibility to the product and characters.I'm so happy to see people responding positively to Shane's return. It's so they can look strong again. So why are we getting this lame match again? And if the Wyatts win, was last night a fluke?
While he's at it he should call out CM Punk too.
Punk complained incessantly about guys that having put in work or show up every day just coming in and taking up space on the Wrestlemania card. Yet Punk had no problem taking a huge UFC deal despite never having a single pro fight and a limited background in BJJ. He also quickly started getting work in comics despite have no background as professional writer.
I'll be at the last one. Definitely going to be fun!WWE is going to Detroit, Chicago,. Pittsburgh. Philly and Brooklyn before WrestleMania. Good luck, Roman hahaha.
Charlotte's heel work is really entertaining.
That's amazing. Speaking of Young Bucks, the Elite's back and forth with TND since winning the NEVER trios belt has been so so good.https://***********/njpwandchill/status/701054088696504320
I can't believe an aging, heel Triple H is more over than the soon to be WWE champ.
Nah, you can tell he's trying hard not to get the crowd behind him.Part of me thinks he's doing this just so he can have people cheer for him one last time.
The 4 Stooges. Sounds better than Social Outcasts.
