I think they have too much invested in AJ financially to just stick him in the ATG Memorial Battle Royal (which Strowman is absolutely winning). They need star power for the 'Mania card with all of the recent injuries, and AJ's been treated like a pretty big deal so far. I'm guessing he'll be matched up with Owens, or perhaps featured as part of some multi-man match for either the Intercontinental or US belts.

Btw, look who's been called back up to the main roster, and was aligned with Team BAD at a house show in Fresno last night:

Ugh. After her terrible showing on the last NXT, I don't want that woman anywhere near my TV.

Lucha Underground has been fantastic so far.

I've been behind on WWE main programs, so I just caught up with Raw and I didn't think his retirement would be that emotional, but it was full of feels. Considering he made a similar speech twice and promised to be back, I wanted it to be another return. Hearing the latest news about that last test he did where they discovered he has legions on his brain, it's heartbreaking that someone so dedicated to the craft had to leave at the height of his career in WWE, but I'd rather it be this way than him risking his life in the ring. I've only seen clips of TE when he was part of the panel and even if he says he can't train people, his criticisms to the contestants would be something of value at the Performance Center.

Word is spreading that Fastlane will most likely be Brie Bella's final WWE match. Off to make babies with Bryan Danielson. (up)

Yeah, when they pushed that feud, I figured it was time for Brie Bella to be done. Then the Daniel Bryan news solidified it. Good for her.

...and this opens up the door for my Maria to return.

:hmr:

Yeah, she got a pretty raw deal on that one. I'm not too sure how long her and Mike Bennett's TNA deal is but I feel pretty confident that she will be back in the WWE at some point.

I'm kinda waiting for them to finally make Dean drop the IC title already. It's the only way to make it seem believable that he could win the WWE Championship.

It's a real shame if he drops the belt in favor of this feud with Brock since he could really push things forward all on his own.

If they played their cards right, they could use Dolph's momentum from the past few weeks to give him the belt tonight, and have him continue to feud with Kevin Owens, but I doubt they'll give him the push, even though they've shown signs of a heel turn in the past few month.

I'd love for an upset and have Ziggler win. This helps Ziggler and helps the unpredictability of Reigns/Ambrose/Laser.

Well, there's the way to get the belt off Dean without making him look bad, while also giving it to someone the fans want.

Now ... we just need KO vs AJ at Mania.

In other news, man I had a feeling Tyler Breeze was only in there to get pinned. Man, the guy is seriously in the dog house.

Renee reminds me what a WWE diva drawn by Darwyn Cooke would look like.

Charlotte is putting this feud way the hell over with this promo.

Paul Heyman is like Mephisto. You mention his name and in a cloud of Brut cologne, he appears in a shiny suit.

Is there a term for jobbing out to a jobber? Because Zack Ryder just did that.

Was that Goldust thing supposed to be sexual, because if so, I approve.

And God damn them for that Ambrose heel turn.

Lol, that reminds me of the old house shows in the 1980s, when the first and even second match would be between two well-known jobbers, like Scott Casey vs. Tiger Chung Lee or David Sammartino vs. Iron Mike Sharpe. Even as a kid, I liked those matches, because you could actually see the jobbers go the distance in a competitive match and actually see what their finishing moves were.

I don't think it was a full-fledged heel turn. It's like when there are multiple faces in a match at a PPV where they're against each other, and they start hitting their finishers on each other after they have a tag team match together, just to show that it's every man for himself.

Yeahhhhh, I official on the "I love Sasha Banks" train. Better late than never.

Yeah, he looked like he was just joking, but it would have been a great opportunity for a heel turn, considering he lost his belt and now he's doing what Heyman said, and putting himself first.

Although ... I wouldn't mind a moment similar to tonight, where Reigns wins the belt at Mania, Dean comes out to celebrate, and then hits a Dirty Deeds on him. But that would go against the Happily Ever After ending that Mania tends to have.

I'll still cheer for him. Even more so if they pit him against Roman.

I was going to ask if champagne spewing was PG.

Someone give the cameraman who got the all the booty shots of Naomi and Sasha a Medal of Honor already.

Everytime Harper speaks on the mic, I am reminded of how good of a talker he is. Underrated in every aspect, that man is.
