Since they are using lots of late 80s/early 90s guys for the new WWE game, anyone think there is a chance they put in Ravishing Rick Rude. He was one o the first heels I really liked as a kid.
Serious question: why does CM Punk/Brock Lesnar work and HHH/Brock does not?
In all the HHH/Brock segments I think I only enjoyed literally in dozens maybe one or two (the Brock F5'n Vince one, the one with Stephanie insulting Paul).
I enjoyed that one segment more than the entirety of HHH/Brock. Is it the David/Goliath factor?
Talia wasn't present at the first fight.![]()
I liked RVD vs Jericho at King of the Ring 2002.
Awesome segment all round. The brawl really reminded me of the first Batman-Bane fight from TDKR. Punk fighting back as much as he can with Brock just taking what he threw at him and toying with him before finishing him off. This is how you build a feud to mean something. These are masters at work right here.
LOL, Lawler's taking credit for RVD's "Mr Monday Night" moniker. Lawler wasn't even part of the company when RVD debuted in WWE.

Lawler sort of acted as his manager during the WWF/ECW crossover in 97. That's when he gave him the name "Mr. Monday Night".
Lawler gave him the name in 1997 when ECW first invaded Raw.
