I hope you guys check out that diva match when you can...I know, on the surface, I might sound like a jackass for praising any match with Nikki Bella but I think you guys will enjoy it.

Update: Rewatching the match though, I notice that Nikki wasn't trying to gain heat, she was clamoring to be cheered when she's supposed to be heel and that's a weird occurrence in WWE today that she's not just guilty of....What's with heels trying to illicit face reactions when they should be trying to get heel reactions?

Sounds like she is just going into business for herself. Then again the writers /vince change their minds on a weekly basis , maybe they are just testing audiences to see what works.

Yeah, she's never exactly been professional. Remember her and Brie shouting over AJ's "pipebomb" promo. Still pisses me off to this day.

- WWE officials had been talking about adding Seth Rollins to the John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar WWE World Heavyweight Title Match at the Royal Rumble for 2-3 weeks now. They went back and forth on the idea and it was just decided on.
There was talk among officials on if they should let Cena and Lesnar have their final battle with a clean win be the selling point of the pay-per-view or if they could put Rollins in the match for a three-way feud since the 30-man Rumble match is really the selling point of the pay-per-view.

One storyline discussed during those talks was to have Lesnar be upset about Rollins being added into the match. This would cause problems between the two sides - Heyman & Lesnar and The Authority, which would put Heyman's loyalty to Lesnar in question.

While I generally prefer one on one matches, adding Rollins adds so much interest and intrigue into this title match.

Daniel Bryan said:
One of the things that kills me about this is if I were champion right now I’d be wrestling Brock Lesnar and that’s the match I’ve always really wanted. I feel like we could do something completely different that people [wouldn’t] have seen before in the United States. That’s the match I really, really want.

Godspeed if you win the Rumble, Bryan.

I assume Rollins was added to the Cena vs Brock match so that Cena doesn't have to eat another pin?

Or take the title off Lesnar without having him get pinned. #MakeHimLookStrong

If Lesnar retains, I can see The Final Final Encounter taking place at Fast Lane.

This has been a problem in wrestling for a long time, going back to at least the NWO days. Those guys were supposed to be heels, but they were the most popular guys on the roster outside of Sting (and later DDP and Goldberg), partially because they played the "too cool for school" act instead of being real heels.

It seems like not many heels actually want to be heels now. Rusev and Lana want to be heels. Seth Rollins for damn sure wants to be a heel. I think Stephanie McMahon does, but Triple-H sometimes tries to straddle the line of true heel and Mr. Cool Guy ( which he is not).

So I don't typically watch the Triple H State of the WWE videos the Maggle Cole hypes all the time on Raw but for some reason I watched it today. Nothing of note....except that font! So....is it just me....or does the font they use in that video look like it came straight from a 1980's tv studio? Like that is some straight up Mr. Belvedere sh@*

Just read on the pwinsider website that the Zombie from ECW has died.:csad:

Awesome/Amazing Kong is said to be backstage at the TNA taping.

Anyone watching the show when it comes on? I am curious to see the changes. Hopefully they are for the better.

I imagine at RR Rollins takes the fall and then Cena cashes in Rollins MITB contract.

Why? because WWE logic, that's why.

And then Cena retroactively ends Andre the Giant's undefeated streak at an unseen, undocumented match that occured the day before Wrestlemania 3. Makes perfect sense.

so I just found out that my cable does carry the new channel TNA will be on tonight!!

so......I guess I'll give it a watch.

I won't be watching live, but Destination America will be replaying it immediately after, like TNT used to do with Nitro. I'll probably check out the replay.

Not at all. The jackass is the person who won't admit it if it's true.

Smackdown spoilers:

* SmackDown kicks off with an in-ring promo from Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble. Roman Reigns interrupts to a big pop. Reigns ends up clearing the ring but Big Show comes out. Big Show and The Authority vs. Reigns is announced for tonight and Reigns must find a tag team partner.

* Adam Rose makes his way out and The Authority are shown on the big screen. The New Day comes out and Big E defeats Rose.

* The Ascension cut a promo in the ring and squashed two local wrestlers.

* Alicia Fox defeated Naomi with her foot on the rope.

* The Usos defeated Goldust & Stardust and The Miz & Damien Sandow in a Triple Threat to retain their titles. Goldust got pinned.

* Sin Cara defeated Bad News Barrett clean in a non-title match. Barrett hit him with the Bullhammer after the match.

* Seth Rollins and Big Show vs. Roman Reigns and a partner is the main event. Nobody comes out for Reigns at first but finally the music of Dean Ambrose hits and out he comes. Ambrose and Reigns win when Reigns spears Rollins. This was the end of SmackDown.

So, Ziggler tries to make the IC title seem important again and now come Friday it's back to looking irrelevant in one week. Brilliant.

And I find Ambrose and Reigns teaming up again interesting. Especially with the Rumble around the corner. Only thing worth tuning in for.

Guess WWE didn't want Kharma back.

I just watched the Paige-Nikki match. Seemed more like an NXT women's match than a WWE main roster women's match. Hopefully, they will let them put on more matches like that on Raw or ppv.

I'm not sure that Nikki was trying to get face pops, though. It seemed more like cocky heel crowd work than face crowd work, IMO. But I could have been reading it wrong.

I'll check out impact eventually.

Lucha Underground returns tonight too.
