*SPOILERS* WWE SMACKDOWN TAPINGS RESULTS FOR 2/26

WWE taped Thursday’s episode of SmackDown from Atlanta, Georgia. Here are the spoiler results:

– Daniel Bryan opens the show with an in-ring promo. He spoke about WrestleMania 31 but was interrupted by Bad News Barrett, who insulted him and Dean Ambrose. Ambrose came out and they brawled. Bryan picks up the IC Title belt and handed it to Barrett to distract him. Ambrose and Bryan teamed up on Barrett, who dropped the title and ran off, leaving Ambrose and Bryan to celebrate with it.

– Dean Ambrose defeated The Miz. Barrett came through the crowd to get his title back.

– Natalya defeated Naomi. Tyson Kidd, Cesaro and The Usos were at ringside and brawled.

– Lana and Rusev came out for a promo. Jack Swagger interrupted them, but Rusev ended up beating him down. Rusev put Swagger in The Accolade as the Russian flag dropped over the ring.

– Daniel Bryan defeated Bad News Barrett with the running knee. R-Truth was on commentary and stole the IC title belt. After the match, Barrett searched for the belt but couldn’t find it.

– Roman Reigns was interviewed by Byron Saxton backstage.

– R-Truth found Dean Ambrose backstage and gave him the IC Title belt.

– Fandango defeated Curtis Axel. Axel had a clock with him that shows how long he’s been in the Royal Rumble.

– Bray Wyatt cut another promo on The Undertaker.

– Goldust defeated Adam Rose. Stardust was dressed as one of the Rosebuds and attacked Goldust.

– Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler defeated Kane, Big Show and Seth Rollins when Ryback hit shellshocked on Rollins for the pin.

I hope the #GiveDivasAChance hastag trends because as a girl. I'm appalled with how women are being treated in WWE.

Over the years, WWE has driven away the large majority of their female audience because of how they treat their female wrestlers.

As much, as I don't like TNA, at least they give their female wrestlers oppotunities.

The women in NXT give a bit of hope for the future, even the wrestlers in Shine and Shimmer.

Those replies to AJ from Vince and Steph just scream condescending....especially from Vince. "Keep Watching"? Seriously F**K HIM.

Has there ever been a revolt backstage like this since Montreal when guys like Foley refused to show up out of protest? I mean, how many dirt sheet reports have there been in the past year about guys and gals having talent only meetings because frustrations were boiling over....? 3 times......4 times....? And we hear about guys like Cena telling them that mailing it in isn't the answer.

It does pose an interesting question.....with Cena on the backside of his career who exactly is going to be the next locker room leader when everyone there is just pissed off constantly? There's really no legitimate candidates. Orton def ain't. Show and Kane may have some stroke since they've been around forever but they may not have the ear of people that are fed up with being fed to them. The situation keeps getting worse and worse for the WWE. It's coming at Vince and the brass from all angles, financially, workplace morale and they're getting killed on the public image end too.

That's a hell of a question. I'd say possibly Bryan, after him Ziggler or Cody.

Also after Reigns becomes champion, I want Cody to go after the WWE title. That should be his focus after he retires goldust at Mania (if that match and stipulation happen)

As for the #givedivasachance let Paige and Emma have a 10 minute match, or Nattie to start. As well as better storylines.

I think the AJ tweet is a worked shoot. We're heading into Wrestlemania and the Divas need a storyline. Also a big theme this year is fighting "the Authority".

Then again , there's the whole issue with CM Punk. That has to be awkward , but it's better for business to work with AJ. That could mend the fences someday. I believe that can still happen. We've seen worse

I've always been a fan of Cody Rhodes, he's one of the only versatile wrestlers in the business today.

The guy is a method wrestler, he can morph into any character and any gimmick and it will get over with the audience.

I find it hilarious that steph tells the performers to "use their voice" after they've shoved twitter down our throats for years though. I kid, of course. I'm glad this is happening for the women on the roster. They deserve much better.

However, maybe if more fans didn't openly call their matches the "bathroom break" or chant "CM Punk" during their matches at every show, the company might consider taking them more seriously. I think this is probably 90% WWE's fault and 10% fans' fault, to be honest.

At very least, this kind of hashctivism is at least sending WWE strong signals that they need to pull their heads out of their asses and recognize on paper ideas that won't fly with their audience, instead of always doing damage control after the fact. I mean, what was the point of that stupid 13 second match, out of a 3-hour program.

Bryan would be likely because he'll do whatever the company needs him to. I just don't know if he's going want to play peacekeeper and keep the talent's emotions in check after how the bosses dog him out without looking completely hypocritical. Ziggler and Cody seem highly annoyed at what's been going on.

Honestly I can't see anyone on the current roster being able to play the backstage political game. Usually it falls at the feet at one of the top guys that are kind of untouchable....like Taker in the past and currently Cena. Reigns sure as hell doesn't fit that mold. Maybe Rollins who is sort of protected but hasn't hit the highest of the high to be willing to bite the hand that feeds.

The latest speculation is that this is a money thing. Lesnar's WM pay is possibly tied to the PPV's revenue and he may be pissed with the direction and bad reception the show is already receiving.

A lot of the backstage moaning and groaning may also have to do with the first payouts from the Network to the talent and it being real lousy so now things are really starting to boiling over.

I'm glad it's not just me thinking this. Granted, it's often hard to get behind the women's product that WWE gives us, it can't help that fans crap on it so hard.
