I want Reigns to become the new Rock of the Authority. It makes the most sense logically as if you put the belt on Reigns now as a face, who does he feud with?

Who I'd like to see: Ambrose, Owens, Cesaro, Ziggler, Samoa Joe

What we'll probably get: Cena, Ryback, Cena, Cena

I don't like how Kane and The Undertaker destroyed the Wyatt Family. In a 2 vs. 4 situation unless the 4 are jobbers then the 4 should get the upper hand usually. If there's going to be a 2 vs. 2 match at Survivor Series then it wouldn't make much sense since 2 of 1 team already destroyed 4 of another team.

A 2 vs. 4 or 2 vs. 5 match could be alright; adding Sting to either side would be interesting.

Ok, maybe a slight tweener. I guess when I think of a tweener, I think of a wrestler that does something heelish(cheating, attacking unprovoked) occasionally and still gets cheered.

I don't understand cheering for low ratings. I want WWE to prosper financially and critically and if they're not, then that's bad. having low ratings is not a punishment for do using loyal fans wrong. It's bad business and I don't want that, as a big fan of WWE and of pro wrestling in general.

2. The Dudley Boys and Ryback beat Stardust and The Ascension. The Dudley Boys and Ryback win via 3D.

WWE Main Event spoilers

1. Jack Swagger over Adam Rose. Swagger put Rose away with the Ankle Lock. The match lasted a good 5-8 minutes.

Highlights were shown of Undertaker and Kane and the piece was labelled "Souls Awoken"

2. Damien Sandow vs. Heath Slater. Sandow wore his intellectual gear and got a great reception. Slater is still a one man band. Sandow got the win with Heath having the majority of the offense beforehand.

Following an advertisement for the excellent Breaking Ground, it was time for the main event of, uh, Main Event.

3. Sasha Banks (w/Naomi, Tamina) defeated Becky Lynch. Becky got a huge pop, as did Sasha. The finish came with the Bank Statement from Sasha in about ten minutes.

The entire Wyatt Family made their entrance. They were first cheered and then booed. There were very loud Undertaker chants. Luke Harper spoke first, saying tonight the carnage continues when they sacrifice the Uso Brothers for Bray Wyatt. Erick Rowan said they bring pain and humiliation to everyone who opposes them. Braun Strowman said he will destroy everyone in his path.
Bray said the Deadman may have risen, and the Demon has come back, but they will never be the same. He has taken pieces, which they will never recover, as they are part of him. The loud Taker chants continued. Bray issued a challenge to the Brothers of Destruction for Survivor Series, saying let's make it your family against my family - the two of them and two of Bray's choosing. He said in 25 years we would be celebrating the day Bray buried the Deadman and Demon forever...
After a pause, probably for a commercial, the lights back on and the Wyatts were still in the ring. Out came Fandango, who would face Strowman...

1. Braun Strowman defeated Fandango. A squash match with Stroman showing off his power offense. He won in a minute. Following the match, The Wyatts all climbed back in the ring and the lights went off before they left.

2. Neville defeated King Barrett to advance in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. Neville hit the Red Arrow in 13 minutes. Neville advances. Very good match...

Renee Young was backstage with the Usos, who said they know how the Wyatts operate, and they are nasty and they smell nasty. They said tonight they are going to get revenge for Strowman's attack on half of them...

Barrett stood in the ring with a microphone and said it has not been an easy 48 hours. He blamed the fact he lost the match to being distracted by Rooney. He said he's wrestled up and down the country but never had a member of the audience place their hands on him. He said its unacceptable, and tomorrow he will demand to Vince McMahon they never come back to Manchester.
Undertaker's gong sounded and the crowd went crazy. The Undertaker made his slow walk to the ring with the flames leaping. He climbed in the ring and took off his gear and looked ready for a fight. The crowd exploded with Undertaker chants. After staring each other down for a good two minutes. Barrett simply asked, "Can I help you mate? You lost?" Barrett said maybe Taker is not aware but he has built a pretty big reputation around here and he doesn't take kindly to strangers coming into his yard and getting in his face.
After running Undertaker down some more, Barrett mocked Taker by telling him how the Bull Hammer works. Taker just stood there. Barrett tried to blindside Taker, who caught him with a couple of shots. After a chokeslam, Taker went to leave with the crowd chanting for a Tombstone. Taker came back in the ring and obliged the chant request, which the crowd ate up. The crowd chanted one more time, and Taker delivered another Tombstone on Barrett. Not sure if this segment will air but it was it fun...

3. Kalisto defeated Ryback to advance in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. On the production screen, a pre-taped interview with Ryback could be seen. Both men shook hands and both looked at the title setup on the podium. Kalisto reversed a super plex from the top rope into a pin. The match went about 8-10 minutes. After the match, they stared each other down before again shaking hands...

Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter made their entrance. Zeb mocked the accent, and said he calls this the Divided Kingdom. He got the "what?" treatment. He said everyone hates each other including the Irish, Scottish, and Welsh hate the English (it's true, I kid). Del Rio used the two Manchester soccer clubs as an example of how divided we are. He said imagine a place with no division. Zeb tried to get the crowd to say Mex-America. He talked some more about Mex-America but lost the crowd. Some kids behind me screamed it's not a real country! Funny. Eventually, they made their way to the ring and Stardust, who looked to slip off the ramp on the way down, was playing to the crowd like a babyface and got the response he was looking for...

4. Alberto Del Rio (w/Zeb Colter) defeated Stardust to advance in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. The finish of the match came when Del Rio hit the double stomp and pinned Stardust.

The ring crew then started to work on the ring, for what reason wasn't clear at this point... Highlights were shown of the Paige vs. Becky match from Raw, and what happened afterwards. This caused the crowd to chant "woooo" when they saw Charlotte. They showed a graphic of Paige vs. Charlotte for Survivor Series and Roman Reigns vs. Cesaro for Monday's Raw...

Renew Young interviewed Reigns backstage. Reigns said his quest for the title over the last year has been like Everest. Every time he reaches the summit and looks up, he sees an avalanche. Footage aired of the Triple H spot on Raw with Reigns turning down his offer. Back to the interview, Reigns said Triple H is right in that he is different than Seth Rollins because he's not a sellout. He finished the promo with a "believe that." Pretty good...
The Usos made their entrance and danced in the ring. For the second time tonight we got the Wyatts.

5. The Uso Brothers defeated Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (w/Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman). Late in the match, all four Wyatts climbed in the ring to cause the DQ finish.

The Wyatts dominated the outnumbered Usos, who were flat out in the ring. Bray hit Sister Abigail to further rub salt in the wounds. All four men stood over the Uso's. Bray went for Sister Abigail again before the gong sounded. The Undertaker came over the loud speaker and said at Survivor Series, your family will rest in peace. Kane's pyro shot up (hence the ring crew earlier I guess). With all four Wyatts in the ring as Undertakers entrance theme played, that was the end of Smackdown

Because WWE has a monopoly on the business? And because they have a monopoly, a vast majority of the good talents have to suffer under their generally deplorable booking and stifling limitations?

I have absolutely no qualms about the Mcmahon empire sinking to death.

As a fan of pro wrestling, it would be a dream to see the emergence of market competition again on the ashes of monopoly's demise.

They are raking in the dough by doing comprehensive cost cutting. It's the equivalent of treating a bullet wound by covering it up with bandages. Anybody will tell you that's not a viable business strategy in the long term. They will see the diminishing returns of their stale, horrible product sooner or later.

I think their big problem right now is inconsistency. I really think the last three or so weeks of Raw have been really good (especially the actual wrestling part), but who knows what the coming weeks will bring.

Before Rollins got hurt, I loved all of the champions in WWE (and NXT), other than Del Rio.

Also, looking at the SD spoilers, they may actually be willing to give yet another guy a chance over their typical "type".

But who'd you like to see would have heel turns more than likely. It would backfire, especially if it is Ambrose. Owens would work but I think the crowd would still cheer for him more than Reigns. He'd need to face a bonafide heel which is really only Wyatt. But we already got 4 months of that.

Cena would be wasted unless it was Wrestlemania to be honest though I'd love to see how they approach it if Reigns is a face. God, I would love the long awaited Cena heel turn.
