I asked earlier but for anyone else who has gotten on since then is anyone here going to WM or any WWE or ROH events this coming weekend?

Agreed. It's stupid not to do it.They can get physical by the end of the show and it would be a great go home Raw for Wrestlemania.

I would rather see them save the fight for Wrestlemania instead of brawling tonight. It gives you more of an incentive to buy the ppv.

On the other hand it would be nice to see them finally 'fight' before wm. Over a year and theyve never come to blows. All we've seen is a 2 rock bottoms and an attitude adjustment on one another.

Well WrestleZone has said that they could come to blows on the final Raw before WM, and this is it, so....perhaps we will be seeing a mini-brawl. I am predicting a Rock Bottom to end the show with the likely of Cena winning at WM.

Morrison Parodies 'Taker/HHH

:funny:

It's funny, since Trips got his first tile run and made it into the league of the big guys, he never put Austin over at all as far as I recall. This would most likely have been the case again had Austin worked the main event with Trips at WMX8, and maybe why he turned it down.

I still felt Austin should have gone over in their 2 out of 3 falls match at NWO2001, but nope, Trips went over again.

I think a lot of that was down to the fact Austin refused to job to Triple H twice when he was in the power seat, then Austin kinda demolished Triple H at the Survivor Series so the WWE felt the need for the guy who had a lot more gas left in the tank to win one of the matches, and if you recall Austin won the first fall so technically he beat Triple H one on one in about 8 minutes lol.

The idea with the WrestleMania X8 match was they were trying to push H as a face and wanted him to win a BIG match at Mania as a face, they teased it at the Rumble that year and the crowd popped big, but Austin turned both it and Hogan down and ended up working Hall, something to this day that seems to lack rationale on both a professional and financial level.

I might be going to fan Axxess

Sources from backstage at RAW have informed WZ that Vince McMahon is "fired up," but not in a bad way. He is being described as very excited for the WrestleMania week that lies ahead.

In addition to his attitude, McMahon has made several revisions to the RAW script but one source stressed it was not the McMahon of past incidents where he can't make up his mind and isn't happy. The changes being offered to RAW are all coming from an energetic Chairman who wants to make this RAW a hit as it of course is 6 days before WrestleMania.

McMahon was seen striking up several random meetings with different talent to talk about their individual storylines. It's not unusual that he would meet with talent to discuss their characters, but sources said the manner in which he did it struck them as different.

Sources also say that in booking tonight's RAW to be a successful show prior to WrestleMania, some kind of "shoot" ending between The Rock and John Cena is being planned.

OMG, the Rock break dancing is too funny!!!

I guess...I still wouldn't put Trip's new found stroke at the time and politicing past the situations though. :oldrazz:

- Christian will be getting a new version of his same theme song and DX will be using a new version of their theme song for the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, according to F4Wonline.com. WWE producer Jim Johnston has also re-made the Four Horsemen theme song.

As of now, the order of inductions looks like this:

1. Alberto Del Rio inducts Mil Mascaras
2. The Usos & Rikishi induct Yokozuna
3. JBL inducts Ron Simmons
4. Dusty Rhodes inducts The Four Horsemen
5. Shawn Michaels & Triple H induct Mike Tyson
6. Christian inducts Edge

Holy ****.. Keith David!

He narrated the True Story of Wrestlemania dvd too. It was awesome. The only way it would have been MORE awesome is if we'd heard Roddy Pipers voice butting in looking for a rematch! :cwink:

You can tell Austin wasn't thinking smart business by that point. He really must have been frustrated.

The thing with Shane was they wer eall stunt matches, I don't think he was a week in week out worker.
If he put the effort into it, I think he could have been. I think he could have had a good run if he went at it week in week out for 2 years.

Austin was just desperate to win at Mania. He didn't consider the person he was wrestling.

There's 16 of us travelling to Mania from Glasgow on Thursday morning... never been to the States before, really can't wait.

It's also my 1st PPV live :woot:

I watched the "Once in a Lifetime" thing earlier, mostly a fluff piece full of buzz words but one thing that was interesting to me, while Rock and Cena are very different two things about their success are the same, incredible drive and very supportive and loving families.

Rock's segment on his Samoan heritage was interesting and showed another side of him, and Cena really does seem like a great guy, his Make a Wish work is admirable.

I guess...I still wouldn't put Trip's new found stroke at the time and politicing past the situations though. :oldrazz:

Oh no doubt, I mean I don't think he was with Steph in real life at that point but Vince had seen Rock and Triple H carry the WWF comfortably without Austin for a year, and I'm sure Triple H was in Vince's ear about Austin returning the favours done for him, as well as the fact Vince knew Austin was close to done physically.

You can tell Austin wasn't thinking smart business by that point. He really must have been frustrated.

Yeah, that was all on the road to the infamous walkout incident.

If he put the effort into it, I think he could have been. I think he could have had a good run if he went at it week in week out for 2 years.

Perhaps, I just didn't see a worker so much as an exciting stunt man, his punches and basic wrestling technique was very average.

Oh man, Cena is an amazing dude. Screw my past hate for his character.

Man, is this shows job is to make me feel like an *******... Job Well done WWE.

I don't think Rock vs Brock is anywhere close to the most anticipated rematch in history.

I disagree. They're both much bigger stars than they were before. Considering the hype, I would be willing to bet you good money that people in general would be more excited for a Rock / Lesnar rematch than a Rock / Cena rematch.

And the point of HHH/HBK is...

If Shawn's gonna come back and wrestle, I can easily name a few guys that are better suited to face him than Triple H.

Also, is Triple H trying to avoid jobbing to the current stars? You know, the ones that will explain be leading the company he's going to run...

After pinning Orton and Sheamus back to back at Wrestlemania, Hunter needs to go back to putting over younger guys instead.

Michaels Vs. Undertaker II was okay. IMO not even close to their masterpiece at Wrestlemania 25. For it being Shawn's "last" match being retired by Undertaker, it didn't sit right with me. It either should've been Hunter or a younger talent to give HBK's career true closer. All these reason why I was upset Cena Vs. Batista II, the true main event in my eyes, didn't main event.

With that said, since Wrestlemania 20 has been tarnished, I'm all for one last match HBK Vs. HHH match. After all, that was being teased before HBK wanted one more shot against The Dead Man.

Also, Cm punk vs Triple h at next years mania would also be good.

Agreed, I would love to see that too, but the upside is that if HBK Vs. HHH does happen, then the chances for Austin Vs. Punk happening significantly increase.

I still felt Austin should have gone over in their 2 out of 3 falls at NWO 2001, but nope, Trips went over again.

At the time, I agreed, but looking back on it, it was better it happened that way. It gave Hunter a lot of credibility heading into his first Wrestlemania match against The Undertaker and Austin's loss to Triple H was a great explaination for him turning heel. If he couldn't beat Hunter then he had a good reason to think that he couldn't beat the Rock. Given that Maivia was better than he was two years ago at WM 15 and Austin's neck injury, it was the perfect storm for Stone Cold to sell out.

Yeah, the original plan from what I understand is that if HHH didn't get injured, The Two Man Power Trip was going to break up with face Triple H Vs. heel Stone Cold at SummerSlam 2001 for the WWF Championship. That got pushed back to Wrestlemania 18 to coincide with Hunter's return, but since Austin refused to stay heel and to lose to Helmsley again, Jericho got the job instead. I think it was combination of Austin's personal dislike for Hunter as well as not accepting the fact he couldn't accept the fact he couldn't be the top star anymore. My two cents.
