Agreed. Hopefully, it will be over after TLC.

esting note, Comcast TV guide is listing WWE Raw to start at 9pm EST this Monday and has NCIS in the 8-9pm EST time slot.

NCIS was the show which previously aired prior to Raw.

It's worth noting that according to the ratings data in the 19 weeks Raw has aired as a three hour program since July—only one week has not seen a decline in viewership for the third hour.

Heavens I hope so...

Who else is sick of this AJ Lee Scandal story? It was fun at first but its the SAME exact shtick every week. Vicki gloats about having incriminating evidence about AJ and John, comes out and announces it as AJ interrupts her, is taunted and John comes in to defend her with Dolph running to Vicki's side. Can we move on already? Im waiting for the day that Vicki shows her evidence and its off AJ and Dolph together. Thats a twist that could make this thing interesting again
I'm totally with you there. And I hate the fact that they plaster Cena on everything and everyone that has a bit of buzz about them.

I was a great lover of AJ, since she signed her development deal some years ago, but now her character and mannerisms have pissed me off, and throwing Cena into the mix doesn't help it whatsoever.
If she ended up going with Dolph Ziggler I would quite like that as it would be sticking it to Cena. And I could quite see that happening since she's been with about five guys since she's been on mainstream WWE TV.

He looks like a fish!

I used to enjoy Hulk Hogan films like Mr Nanny and Suburban Commando. No Holds Barred was awesome. I think Vince tried to ignore the film for a long time though.

I think Steve Austin is a good action star and The Condemned might of been their best film to date . The Marine was more popular , but in my opinion much worse. Cena was decent enough but the action scenes were completely ridiculous.
I still haven't seen See No Evil. That has to be terrible.

See No Evil was terrible. Just look at it this way: the segments between Kane and Daniel Bryan are much more entertaining then See No Evil.

I also saw the film "Breaking the Rules" with Edge and Jamie Kennedy. All I have to say is that anything with Jamie Kennedy in it (except for Scream) is awful.

So are they being booked as superheros or like a security team?

They are like a SWAT Team. They come in , get the job done , and leave. It almost seems like they are recruiting Punk instead of him hiring them.

There have been far better tributes to 80's actoin films than The Marine recently. The only things that movie has going for it is Robert Patrick and the hot love interest.

I liked seeing him play the villain again. Robert Patrick is an underrated actor. I thought he did a great job with his minor role on The Sopranos.

That's what I loved about the movie though. It was basically one giant tribute film to all the 80s action movies I enjoyed watching growing up. Also to Michael Bay considering there was an explosion almost every 15 minutes!

It just seemed too over the top even by 80s standards. It reminded me of XXX with Vin Diesel. The end fight was still kind of awesome though. I want to see Cena's Legendary. I never hear much about that film.

Also, what is the point of the WWE releasing their films to theaters when they know it's only going to make $2 at the box office? How stupid is that?

And why have they not remade Body Slam yet?

The whole thing is stupid , but AJ swerving on Cena seems inevitable.

I think I'll avoid both those movies , lol.

On the topic of The Undertaker , since that came up yesterday , I want to see his streak end at Wrestlemania. I think that would be the proper sendoff.

Keep in mind that any project that Jamie Kennedy is involved in is likely to be 100% terrible.

Damn, his is scary strong.

Man...he's a freak. Easily in that catagory of Davey Boy Smith/Cena strength class.

When I say this heel run sucks it's not because of Punk and Heyman. They're doing their best to make it work. It's that Punk has been cast in the role of a typical WWE heel. Mostly because Cena and Ryback need extra help getting cheered because the characters aren't good enough on their own, and it's still not working as well as WWE wants.

I agree. Why the hell ONLY Triple H can be booked as a tough strong heel I will never understand. Punk should be the badass heel who isn't afraid to speak his mind and takes no sh** from anybody. Are they afraid he would get more over?

I don't think Punk is that into being Heel right now. He did everything he could to get heat (trolling kids, insulting crowds, Kings illness) yet it seems negated by the lame respect gimmick and cowardly act which Punk undersells by doing goofy mock scared faces everytime Ryback shows up.

If they ditched the cowardly act/ respect thing and just let Punk show the obnoxious side of his personality it would be more intresting, entertaining and make Ryback or Cena look strong because they are going up against a craft talented heel instead of a wuss.

Big Show or Triple H are made to look strong as heels and when the faces beat them it makes the faces look stronger.

Agreed. Punk doing what he's doing is never going to get the whole crowd to turn on him. I don't think it matters WHO he goes against. Even it was a smark favorite a segment would still love him. Booking Punk as a heel with a chance to win clean on his own could get people more interested in the shows right nbow because it would be more unpredictable.

No Holds Barred is one of their best by default. So bad its good while most WWE films are just plain bad. I though the Condemend was pretty good. The Marine was ok. Not great not terrible. Couldn't make it through 12 Rounds without losing interest. See No Evil was so so. Everything else has either looked terrible or I just haven't given a f*** about seeing it. Behind Enemy Lines 3 with Ken Anderson? PASS. The Marine 2? Double pass. I can't even take Miz seriously as a wrestler there's no way I'd buy him as a member of the USMC.

Most of WWE's comedies like The Chaperone make Hogans films look like classics.

No One Lives , The Hive , and Dead Man Down could be decent. I'd be surprised if Marine 3 is any good , but I'm curious to see how Miz does. I skipped Marine 2. I thought 12 Rounds sucked , so I'm skipping that one.
Leprachaun : Origins will be terrible. The other films were bad , but at least Warwick Davis brought some character to the role.

Scooby Doo sounds fun , too bad it's not coming out sooner.

Only WWE film I'm interested in.

Yep just saying it right now. Aces and Eights blows. Oh well, at least TNA has plenty of talented people to keep me interested in other things.

Everybody called it but I still hope he's just being used as one of the rotating bodies to fill out the ranks to keep people guessing. If he IS a member it doesn't make any sense.

Aces & 8's could be a good program if it actually starting going somehwere faster. Its moving at a crawl and most of it is the same stuff rehashed every week.

Its stupid. It may have made sense when AJ was still GM and with someone like Bryan or when Cena was still married and they could reference it but even if they were together now they are doing NOTHING wrong. The story has no foundation to stand on. Vickies claims have no merit. And like you said same tired old sh** every week.

Punks the only person that could benefit most from ending the streak thats even close to ready. He could also carry Taker to something watchable.

If Taker is going to win I wish they'd bring Jericho back. He could make that feud interesting and since he's part tiem a loss won't hurt him.

Taker vs lesnar is another option. Again a fulltimer wouldn't be hurt be another loss.

Now this is what I want for Christmas !

:woot: It's sad but true. The WWE needs to let it's performers appear on good shows instead of trying to fill the bargain bin at Walmart. I remember Cena was hilarious on Mad TV. Hopefully Punk appearing on The Talking Dead might open the door for some type of crossover.

CM Punk would be perfect. He's my top choice and this could easily main event over Rock vs Cena part two.

Jericho was always a favorite of mine to face Undertaker. Mainly because they never had a real one on one unless you count Smackdown. I miss Jericho already , I wish they had worked out some sort of deal.

There's very few top guys to choose from. Brock vs Undertaker would of made sense, but I think he's locked down to face Triple H again.

It is the same old crap every week with almost the same result being sympathy for Cena and AJ, or the two of them getting the last laugh which is played out in the most cheesy and cringe-worthy manner. It's so bad it's starting to make AJ an annoyance to me.

Aces & 8's as a concept is cool but I'm not over the moon about the potential members really. I mean hopefully Bully is involved, I need someone to get invested in here. Gimmie Harry Smith or even Chris Masters.

I'd throw Sheamus in there too. The way he has thrown the Big Show around the last couple of months has been nothing short of impressive.

Triple H is a b**** if he is actually pushing for a mania rematch with Lesnar. I gave him credit for doing the job at Summerslam but in the back of my mind I knew he might want his win back on the biggest stage.

The thrill is gone. Much like Rock vs Cena the big hook of "for the first time ever" has been used up. Its not NEARLY the biggest drawing match Lesnar could be used in nor does it help to company long term if he jobs to Haitch.

I mean, jeez...you didn't even see Hogan scheming on how to get a win back against Lesnar after he got mauled by him. Jobbing Punk to The Rock and Lesnar to Triple H is just wasting potential and shows why the company is slowly but surely seeing an erosion of its relevance.

WWE films, even if they were good, will never escape the stigma of having the WWE name on them. Nothing Vince has done outside of wrestling has. Its just like Lindas Senate campiagn. Besides the fact that she threw together a run with very little experience the first time the WWE association doomed her chances from the start.

I'm kind of interested in The Day but not enough to pay to see it.

Its waaaaay worse than Aj/Dixie/Claire. Which takes some effort. At least Styles and Dixie were--y'know--married. And she was THE boss.

Bully joined would turn this whole thing around. He'd be the perfect voice for them. They need to do it in a non stupid swerve kind of way that makes sense though. Like...Devon lures him over by telling how sh**y Hogans been treating him and that he owes him nothing.

RE: No Holds Barred. The guy who played Zeus will always be Deebo from the Friday movies.

Man, the guy who directed The Chaperone directed the first film of the second greatest time travel movie franchise of all time (Most Triumphant!). How he has fallen badly.

WWE.com is reporting the following:

Buddy Roberts, one-third of the legendary Fabulous Freebirds, passed away at age 65.

Roberts first made an impact on wrestling in the 1970s, working his way through the territories as one-half of a tag team called The Hollywood Blonds with Jerry Brown. The duo racked up championships across the United States before parting ways late in the decade.

As the 1980s began, so did The Fabulous Freebirds. The technically sound Roberts joined forces with the charismatic Michael "P.S." Hayes and the hard-hitting Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, and Southern wrestling was never the same. The trio ran roughshod over the South before landing in Dallas and World Class Championship Wrestling.

On Christmas night 1982, The Freebirds made history — not only for becoming the first WCCW Six-Man Tag Team Champions, but also more notoriously for turning against Kerry Von Erich, setting off a rivalry that is remembered as one of the greatest in history. The battles between The Freebirds and The Von Erich family are legendary for their sheer brutality and the passion they inspired in Texans.

In the midst of the Freebirds–Von Erichs war, Roberts developed a rivalry with Iceman King Parsons. It began when Roberts cut off Iceman's signature braids, ultimately culminating with a Hair vs. Hair Match at Reunion Arena in June 1983. Leading into the bout, Roberts taunted Parsons with a Nair-like substance he called "Freebird Hair Cream," claiming he would take the rest of Parsons' hair with it.

Roberts used nefarious tactics to win the match, only for the official to restart the bout, during which Parsons smeared the cream over his cranium. The Freebird writhed around the mat, clutching what was left of his once-luxurious blond hair, to the fans' delight. Over the next few weeks, fans giggled as Buddy Roberts appeared on television wearing a blond wig held in place by boxing headgear, claiming his hair had grown back immediately.

After stints in WWE, AWA and Cowboy Bill Watts' UWF, Roberts returned to WCCW, this time as the manager for the animalistic Samoan Swat Team. Buddy Roberts left the industry shortly after WCCW's closing in the late 1980s.

In the years since he left the ring, Roberts survived a battle with throat cancer. Buddy Roberts will always be remembered as a tenacious competitor.

I just caught up on the Aries vs Hardy ladder match and Impact, both were pretty good, the finish of the ladder match was cool.

Is AJ's new angle that he's going to seed? He looked kinda bloated in his match with Kazarian, as if he had let himself go.

I also wondered why Bully didn't come out to help EY, then I discovered the reason, he no longer cares about Aces & 8's because he's got an angle with Brooke Hogan.

They are like a SWAT Team. They come in , get the job done , and leave. It almost seems like they are recruiting Punk instead of him hiring them.

It's like the Boss Man's second WWE gimmick made into a trio.

Aces & 8's as a concept is cool but I'm not over the moon about the potential members really. I mean hopefully Bully is involved, I need someone to get invested in here. Gimmie Harry Smith or even Chris Masters.

Bischoff is all over this angle, he's into the whole biker thing and clearly has a hard on for that Sons of Anarchy show. The problem is that I'm not sure he has anything planned out beyond the concept, which was a key Bischoff weakness in WCW.

Said they reminded me of him as well. And I approve. Really had fun with his return in the attitude era.

I don't really know why, but I want to see Puppet H in a WWE Studios film.
