Having posted the Al Bundy gif, didn't King Kong Bundy play two different characters on Married with Children?

Much better Impact than last week's Thanksgiving filler.

The Hulk Hogan/ Brooke Hogan/ Bully Ray/ Austin Aries storyline has definitely replaced the AJ Styles/ Dixie Carter/ Claire Lynch/ Chris Daniels/ Kazarian storyline. This week's Impact shows Hogan not thinking straight when it comes to his daughter.

Great Knockouts match between Gail Kim and Mickie James, but Tara should've come out to hype up their PPV match more.

I see great things for Christian York since he's been on a roll. I agree that he needs to work on mic skills.

The tag team match did a great job of telling AJ Styles' storyline where he's not on top of his game and that James Storm came down on him. It should have been Kazarian to take the fall instead of Daniels.

I'm glad Wes Briscoe passed the Gutcheck and got a TNA contract. Suspicious connection between Al Snow's disappearance and D-Lo Brown stepping in as alternate TNA Gutcheck judge.

The match between RVD and Austin Aries was good until the finish. We got confidence vs. arrogance. If Hogan wanted Aries to face RVD all along, then this elimination process was unnecessary and they brought back Kenny King just to be the first to be eliminated.

That's right. Basically, Bundy had more range than Shia Laboeuf.

I remember when they hyped up Randy Orton making his film debut in that movie with Ed Harris. I think RKO was only in it for 3 minutes, lol.

Hey question for anyone who has the CM Punk dvd or blu ray, is Chris Jericho's light up jacket entrance and the promo video for the WrestleMania 28 match included on the blu ray?Or does it just start from Punk's entrance?
My money is tight so I am looking to skip the WrestleMania 28 blu ray if this is on the Punk blu ray.Only match I cared for on the card and it sucks their street fight from Extreme Rules was left off the best ppv matches of 2012 blu ray/dvd set.Really wanted that in HD.

They start it at a backstage segment with Punk being informed by Johnny Funkman Ace that if he gets DQed he loses the belt, and then they go to Jericho's entrance. Don't know about the promo video though (I don't even think they aired that on the broadcast, I know the promo video for Taker/HHH didn't play on the WM broadcast).

The Jericho Vs. Punk buildup was played in between Jericho and Punk's entrances. Odd way to present it.

Has this been mentioned yet?

I could see the Sheamus/Orton match being for the World Title which means Orton could be a heel by the time WrestleMania season hits.

And I still don't see Punk being in the main event if Rock or Cena is part of WM 29. I call BS on the idea that Punk will be in the last match for WM.

I've read that a possibly scenario is for the Show/Ryback match to be for the WHC as they're considering promoting Ryback performing a shell-shock on Show as a WrestleMania moment. This means that either Ryback or Cena will likely win the Rumble. The way things are panning out, I'm not looking to forward to this slate of matches at all. Cena will go over and get his return rub as well as the WWE title, Punk will likely job to Taker, Ryback will squash Show and Helmsley will get his return rub from Brock. Crap! :csad:

I wonder why Wes Brisco is in TNA? Did he ever have a WWE developmental deal? You'd think that would be a lock for him. Maybe he wants to make it on his own.

I also wonder is Al Snow's absence last night was part of some kind of storyline?

WWE.com is reporting the following:

Buddy Roberts, one-third of the legendary Fabulous Freebirds, passed away at age 65.

Sad news. I knew Cancer really did a number on him in recent years.

[YT]HCkKtfUEzow[/YT]

They were in WWF for a cup of coffee weren't they?

One of my fav Freebird appearances from that era was their MSG cameo in Highlander.

Bischoff is all over this angle, he's into the whole biker thing and clearly has a hard on for that Sons of Anarchy show. The problem is that I'm not sure he has anything planned out beyond the concept, which was a key Bischoff weakness in WCW.

Its a good idea but you're right. Bischoff can be good at taking an idea and tweaking it but he's never been able to carry it out well long term.

And if [BLACKOUT]Garrett[/BLACKOUT] is involved...:whatever: Nepotism: the bane of the wrestling business.

I can easily see TNA pushing Christian York to a top spot real fast.

He's actually pretty good. Roode calling him kid in classic heel fashion made me LOL since they are around the same age.

Punk will most get a good match out of Undetaker. Punk is going to booked like a little ***** though. Punk runs away from Captain Caveman every week, so he'll probably curl up into a ball at the sight of Undetaker.

What makes me nervious is the last time Punk and Taker tangoed Punk had come off his best period in WWE up to that point (the battles with Jeff Hardy) but instead of coming off loooking better Punk got fed to Taker in typical fashion after cutting a few good promos..

Whenever I see that picture my eyes literally pop out of my head! thanks!

I miss them. Apparently Savage also DID have a match with Austin in WCW...something I always wanted to see.

Man, don't make me hate WrestleMania 29 already :csad:

I don't buy Ryback as the powerhouse WWE presents him as, so shell shocking Big Show would help his credibility. I don't think he's as strong as Lesnar, Cena, Sheamus or Cesaro.

Man, Cesaro...I would've never known he was a brute. Love watching him doing that finisher to guys like Brodus.

Man, Cesaro...I would've never known he was a brute. Love watching him doing that finisher to guys like Brodus.

That's probably part of the problem with Cesaro right now; his characterization is not that of a strongman, but of a snobby privileged European.

To get him over as a powerhouse heel, it might work better for him to talk less, be less expressive in the ring and use a manager.

Agreed. We just haven't seen him do anything REALLY impressive in the strength department. Picking up tow little dudes at once hasn't cut it. The other guys though. Sheamus doing the electric chair on show, cesaro pretty much dead lifting sheamus and twirling him around. Cena lifting up show and edge at once. Dont even get us started on Lesnar and his lifting of big people with amazing ease. Other dudes scream or grunt, Lesnar just gets them up fast.

I'm telling you guys, a Cesaro vs Henry feud has to happen at some point.

Big Changes In TNA, Matt Morgan Wears Hogan's Cape From The 70's, Steiner

By Michael Bluth
Nov 30, 2012 - 12:31:45 PM

- The court hearing in for Scott Steiner's lawsuit against TNA that was scheduled for Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee was cancelled. No word why, but it's possible the two sides are working out a settlement.

- The cape that Matt Morgan wore on Thursday's Impact Wrestling was actually a cape that Hulk Hogan wore back int he 1970's when he was a heel. Hogan has been working closely with Morgan in recent weeks to help fine-tune his character's presentation.

- This weekend's TNA live events schedule includes:

* 11/30 in Bemidji, MN
* 12/1 in Fargo, ND
* 12/2 in Grand Forks, ND

Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and Bully Ray are among the talents scheduled to appear.

- Morale behind the scenes at Thursday's Impact Wrestling was great, with talent feeling better about the company's creative direction than they have in a long time.

TNA has been focusing on long-term booking as of late, mapping out creative plans several months in advance. Television scripts are being written weeks in advance, with tweaks being made when necessary.

More On TNA Cutting Back On PPVs, TNA's "Bad Influence", Xplosion

- Daniels and Kazarian's tag team is now known as Bad Influence.

- Television Champion Samoa Joe defeated Kid Kash on Thursday night in a match taped for Xplosion.

- As previously reported, TNA's announcement that Lockdown is being moved from April to March is a result of the company cutting back on the number of pay-per-views and breaking from the monthly-PPV format. The latest on this situation is that February's Against All Odds pay-per-view has been scratched, so TNA will have Genesis in January and then Lockdown in March.

It's believed that TNA will remove more pay-per-views from the calendar as well. No word on whether TNA reducing the frequency of their pay-per-views will result in a price increase for the remaining shows.

The red parts are great news IMO.

So what's Vince gonna do if Ryback can't get Show up? And he botches on the grandest stage. Or are we gonna have another Big Show losing the belt in 45 seconds again.

I'm glad that TNA will cut out several PPV's, especially with ones that take place in the Impact Zone. If I were them, I'd keep Genesis, Lockdown, Slammiversary, Bound For Glory, and Final Resolution. This will give TNA more time to develop their storylines and concentrate more on Impact since they seem to put all their energies into the show than anything else.

Nice to hear that the backstage morale in TNA is better than ever. Hopefully, Dixie Carter will re-sign vital stars as their contracts are up.

Great news indeed. Reducing the number of PPV's is great as it allows matches more time to be built up properly. Long term planning is usually better than booking on fly. We can have character arcs and the storylines will make more sense.

what I like about Cesaro is that he's got some serious strength, but he doesn't have the roided up, bodybuilder look like other "big muscles" ( like Ryback ).

I hope Undertaker vs CM Punk happens at Wrestlemania. Of course I hope that Taker wins

And for those wondering about the whole Cena and AJ thing (as well as Del Rio and Mendes), we have an answer!

- It's said the current RAW storylines with AJ Lee & John Cena and Rosa Mendes & Alberto Del Rio are being done to cater to female viewers as part of WWE's new initiative to reach out to that demographic.

[LOP]

...

It's very good that TNA are thinking more long term in booking,Positive moral back stage is nice&refreshing after months of negative reports on back stage moral feelings.

I've wanted TNA to cut down on ppvs for a LONG time and now it's actually happening,I wish Vince McMahon would do the same in WWE

...

So I guess we should expect WWE to get even much more like a soap opera than ever before

Its a given he is going to win, if the match ever happens I would like it to take place as the last match (hopefully casket match) with Punk on the verge of winning , and about to put Taker in the casket when Austin pops out of the casket and starts beating down on Punk to end the match, then the show ends with Austin on top of the turnbuckle.

This way Punk can still look strong vs Taker
Also it sets up their WM the following yr.
