what happened to Cody??

why is he off? did he get injured?

and what about Mysterio??

Lesnar vs. Rock seems cool at first, but it's basically a special attraction vs. special attraction match that doesn't do anything for any of the full-time wrestlers.

Vince is "all about the mon-ay!" I really don't think he gives a **** about putting over young guys. I personally do, but my opinion don't mean ****.

His main concern is the Wrestlemania butyrate, he's all about the now, if he was concerned about the future as much as we are, then Cena wouldn't have hogged the spotlight for 7 years.

This is true, but ironically it'd be the most promoted match of the event.

In that case, they might as well make the main event LeBron James vs. Peyton Manning in a Blindfold Match.

Maybe Triple H will step up and win the title so he can face Rock at the Rumble, and then move on to Wrestlemania and face Brock Lesnar in his rematch.

i wouldn't mind hhh vs the rock again, their matches back in the day were great :D
i like rock vs brock II aswell

- The November 5th episode of WWE RAW had 258,000 homes watching on DVR or tape delay. The November 12th episode had 340,000 homes watching on DVR or tape delay.

- It looks like WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres and Rey Mysterio will be missing the TLC pay-per-view. Eve is banged up while Rey has been given some time off to deal with personal matters.

- The unofficial estimate from a few people close to CM Punk is that he will be out of action for around three weeks but a more solid time frame is expected to be released within a few days. Punk's recuperation time will depend on how well he progresses while rehabbing the knee that was operated on. As noted, Punk's WWE Title match against The Rock at the Royal Rumble is not in jeopardy.

Punk's knee problem had been noticeable by some in recent matches but for the most part he worked through it without any outward signs of a problem. In the storylines, WWE blamed the injury on Ryback putting Punk through the table at Monday's RAW. Word is that the table spot was done in case he needed time off, which he did.

- As noted, WWE will return to Syracuse, New York on March 3rd, 2013 for a RAW event. The pre-sale begins this morning at 10am and the password is CMPUNK.

- Big Bossman gets the Superstar Spotlight on WWE's website today.

- Mick Foley recently filmed a segment for the "I Am Santa Claus"documentary by director Tommy Avallone. The movie looks at a year in the life of five men who portray Santa Claus at various times. Foley tweeted:

"Really enjoyed being part of the @IamSantaMovie . This doc will be like "Beyond the Mat" for my younger kids..without the blood and tears."

- Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler will likely be splitting up for good soon. Despite recent losses, WWE officials remain high on Ziggler as he's the total package of work, charisma and his promos have gone up a level over the last month.

- WWE CFO George Barrios participated in the 40th annual UBS Global Media Conference in New York City on Monday and said the company is very focused on creating new content, according to a transcript on SeekingAlpha.com.

It doesn't sound like WWE will be taking RAW back to two hours anytime soon. Barrios touted that the third hour of RAW is up 35% versus the programming that was airing in its place on the USA Network. He added that USA is very happy with that. Barrios also noted that Saturday Morning Slam on the CW Network is up 50% over what it replaced and Main Event on Ion is up about 15% from the programming it replaced.

Barrios also talked about five major deals that WWE has coming up for renewal over the next few years, ones that he is confident about - RAW on USA, SmackDown on SyFy, BSkyB in the UK, Taj TV in India and Mattel.

Barrios briefly discussed the WWE Network but didn't really say anything new from what we've heard already. He mentioned that WWE feels there is too much there in a potential Network not to keep pushing at it. WWE believes the payoff could be too large to give up on it and continue to push on that.

As noted before, Daniel Bryan took part in a Q&A along side Brian Soscia in Philadelphia. Here are some highlights from the interview.

On what wrestler he most enjoys working with now: "Even though I dislike him, I like wrestling Sheamus. He hits hard, he doesn't mind being hit hard back. We go out there and we just fight. It's nice, it's fun."

On wanting to wrestle Shawn Michaels and if he thought it could even come close to happening when Michaels was training him: "I want to wrestle Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania. Shawn Michaels is the man. Yeah.

"It never occurred to me that he would come back because at the time, his back was so bad. You could tell how passionate he was about wrestling because he wasn't supposed to be doing anything. All of a sudden, he would be showing us how to do something and he'd get so excited and he'd get in there, take a big back body drop. His feet would hit the ceiling -- and it was a boxing ring, which are really hard. Then, he'd come in the next day and he could barely walk but he kept doing it. That was the thing.

On if he's ever felt in over his head when in against any wrestlers: "Absolutely. There's two guys: The Big Show and Mark Henry. So, I don't know if you guys know this, but when Mark Henry grabs you, it's not like somebody normally grabbing you. It's almost be like if I had four hands and I grabbed you with my four hands as hard as I could. That's how Mark Henry grabs you. You just feel completely helpless, almost like a child.

"...Do you know what also is not fair? When I was the World Champion, I was wrestling Mark Henry and The Big Show. So, Big Show's close to 500 pounds, Mark Henry's over 400 pounds. I am closer in weight to Hornswoggle than I am to either of those guys. And they would never give Hornswoggle a WWE championship match. ... He's 165 pounds."

On when a "I Am The Tag Team Champions" t-shirt is coming out: "There's a litany of t-shirts that may be coming out. The 'I Am The Tag Team Champions,' 'Team Friendship.' Something about us hugging it out. Who knows?"

Top WWE Diva Likely To Take Time Off

According to reports, WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres is said to be banged up right now, and will likely be taking some time off in the coming weeks. Eve's house show matches recently have been changed to Triple Threat bouts so that she can be protected and not bump as much.
Resentment in TNA Towards Brooke Hogan & Garett Bischoff

There is said to be quite a bit of resentment backstage towards Brooke Hogan and Garett Bischoff for the respective pushes both are receiving in the company. While Garett is generally well liked backstage, many talents still feel he is only getting the push he's getting because of his last name.

PWInsider.com is reporting that The Undertaker recently reached out to WWE and notified them that he wants to compete at WrestleMania 29. He told officials that he is currently training for a return, and he reportedly pitched an opponent for the big PPV.

While it is unknown who The Undertaker has requested to work with at the event, it's being said that Ryback and Triple H are not amongst the names.

The Very Latest on Jeff Hardy's TNA Future

According to The Wrestling Observer, there remains uncertainty in TNA as to whether or not Jeff Hardy will re-sign with the company after his contract expires in March.

The feeling is still that while Hardy could obviously make more money and be in a bigger spotlight if he were to return to WWE, his body is pretty banged up at this point in his career and he is guaranteed a main event spot in TNA, which might make re-signing with them more attractive in the long run.

This is just awful:

In recent weeks, WWE has toned down the use of Tout on television, suggesting they were pulling back on the social media video service that WWE invested in.

However that's not case as WWE CFO George Barrios said this week that viewers "will continue to see is integrated more and more into all our shows; we have been kind of Raw centric." Barrios noted that WWE temporally pulled back in order to enhance the "production values" during TV broadcasts and to determine how to incorporate Tout into taped shows.

Tout is here to stay, especially when WWE is trying to find ways to monetize their social media presence.

"I think you will continue to see it in more and more shows and we're going to continue to be creative in how we use it," Barrios said at the 40th Annual UBS Global Media conference. "I think you are also seeing the production values as our talent and our fans get more accustomed to using it. The quality of the 15 seconds improves. So I think you are going to see that as well. But, we like the platform a ton. We love our engagement. It gets back to the whole social media element of it."

Barrios also noted the company became interested in working with Tout after they "became fascinated by the technology." He added, "We really thought, 'Boy, we are going to really drive the value of this company by integrating it,' and we have."

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Hopefully when he returns, the Rock isn't forced by WWE to join this piece of crap.

While I believe Tout is terrible, and gives White Trash people their 15 seconds of "fame", even ESPN is using it now. So sadly it's here to stay, FOREVER. Just like stupid Twitter and lame Facebook. I hate social media!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Brock he pitched to wrestle. I've said before there is a ready made storyline for that match, and Taker probably knows it too. I also wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to wrestle Punk.

Daniels/Kazarian/Roode vs. Styles/Hardy/Storm??? Yes, please and thank you!!!

Let the pigeons loose! Thank God Velvet is back on tv

I'm in the boat with wanting to see Ziggler in a ladder match as well, but I don't believe it should be the last match.

Plus, Ryback/Team Hell No vs The Shield has something at stake as well with there being this team that's just causing chaos. Imagine The Shield winning that match and what it means for the "landscape of the WWE". It'll be like WWE's original creation version of nWo if they won their first match.

That would be to assume WWE have any intention of really pushing the Shield, plus at a PPV you have to end with your names and this case Ziggler has earned that spotlight opposite Cena.

:funny: Cena basically playing everyone else like back ups is pretty symbolic.

I don't think they'll be unifying the belts anytime soon. I also can't see Rock walking around with that Mattel belt either, lol.

You think Rock will be the one to introduce the new belt after he beats Punk?

Ryback is actually inferior to Warrior in general when it comes to star power. Crazy to think about. At least Warrior was legit over.

Warriors high octane entrance alone trumps anything Roidback has done.

Miz is still a whiny *****e. I just didn't buy him as being anywhere near Punk's level at all.

Well he isn't on Punk's level and no amount off WWE propaganda will ever make that stick.

Lesnar vs. Rock seems cool at first, but it's basically a special attraction vs. special attraction match that doesn't do anything for any of the full-time wrestlers.

Anything that prevents Rock winning the WWE title and Rock vs Cena II has merit.

It's understandable, Brooke can't act or wrestle and Garett still looks like a tough enough contestant in the ring, neither have any business on TV.

So somebody has been picked out for jobbing duty, oh joy! Hopefully it'll be Del Rio or Sheamus.

I hope this doesn't mean the belt is gonna stay on him for months.

The Wrestling Thread Has Let The Pigeons Loose!

I hate that saying, but I'm glad we get to hear it again.

Huh... wonder if that uncensored ******** was planned or a mistake. Most likely planned and approved. Will be interesting if it wasn't.

So far, a fine episode of Impact (although I am technically a half hour behind due to start over.

Brooke is looking more like her dad every week. :o

Nice to see you back as well. :D So TNA have rehired Velvet?

Appreciate it brother  My schedule has made it difficult for me to post as frequently as I use to.

Yea a few days ago PWInsider.com reported they signed her to a new deal and Dixie pushed hard to get her back. I look forward to see her suck it up in the ring while looking ungodly hot. :cwink:
