The Wrestling Thread's got...needs - Part 216

I think Bray Wyatt would be an awesome WWE champion. If they were smart, they'd have had Wyatt win the tournament after Rollins got hurt and make him a monster heel with a monster group behind him.

Have Stroman win the US title and feud with another wrestler to get them over (Titus O'Neil, maybe). Luke and Rowan could be tag champs.

All this domination leading up to Wrestlemania with Bray vs. Lesnar, Reigns or both.

That's how you build a heel.

Good god no.

I really don't want to see Wyatt win the title, is a a good character? Sure, but he's a consummate loser who has yet to hold anything resembling a belt.

I just saw the greatest picture of Scarlett Bordeaux ever but I don't think it's a good idea to post here.

I think I know what you mean.

Clearly, she's watching a football game on television, and we don't have the express written consent of the National Football League to reproduce that image.

I didn't realize the RR was this weekend, so with that in mind this was just a horrible go home show. What the hell were they thinking? The best thing going right now is Becky/Charlotte and Becky is really getting to shine on the mic lately. Whoever is booking that specific feud needs more control.

My guess would be Lita who's been working backstage as a road agent/producer for the past 3 months now. Possibly could also be Finlay or Malenko who have worked exclusively with the Divas in the past.

It's so staggering seeing that and then the rest of the Divas division being stuck in tag matches as opposed to building a proper system. That also goes for anything sans WHC and Roman Reigns. It's crazy to think that back in the day there was so much going on in the lower and midcards that enhanced the product. Now, along with 50/50 booking, it's killing the main product.

If WWE really wants to show some cojones, they'd make Wyatt the WWE champ, have him face Lesnar at Wrestlemania and allow him to beat Brock CLEAN.

If that's true, I can totally see the parallels. Becky in the role of Lita, the rocker-girl who's kind of a cool but angry outsider, vs. Charlotte as the proxy for Trish Stratus, someone who was genetically born to be the WWE's golden girl and has political power backing her up.

I'll just leave this here.....

Man, Shane was so freaking good. I respect his decision to leave, but this is just another example of how much better the product and people involved were back in the day.

Wrestlemania has always been about passing the baton to the next guy, the payoff, turning the page. While Wyatt winning going in and leaving Wrestlemania champ would be against the norm, those finishes have already been done by HHH and Cena, both times rubbing fans the wrong way.

I think they should use WM to kick off a proper Bullet Club story that would own the majority of 2016 leading into the main roster emergence of Balor and later in the year into a proper Shield reunion where they come together again to fight the Bullet/Balor Club. But this will probably never happen and besides I have no faith in creative to do a Bullet Club storyline right after how lousy the League of Nations has been.

Knowing WWE the Bullet Club would likely fizzle out with the constant addition and rebranding of new members. Just like NWO, Nexus, The Corre, ECWWE, WCWWE etc. To the point where the original members have long abandoned it.

And I'm sure the Big Show will somehow become a Bullet Club member in it's waining days.

Yeah, the Shield has been the only great and properly built stable in the WWE since...well, damn, I can't even remember the last good one in over a decade.

I guess after the main event tonight on Impact Wrestling, EC3 should've brought a jar of Vaseline with him to the ring, along with the World Heavyweight Title............if you know what I mean (for anybody who watched it).

Let me just say, after video-distorting the belt that proclaiming the REAL world champion, I'm going to tell you all! With a TEAR in my eye...this is the greatest moment in my life. When you walk around this world and you tell everybody you're number one, the only way you get to stay number one, is to be number one, and this is the only...TITLE...in the wrestling world that makes you number one! When you are the king of the WWF, you RULE the world!

It's the greatest moment of my life. I want to jump, I want to party, but I got to tell you like this. For the Hulk Hogans, and the Macho Mans, and the Pipers, and the Sids: now it's Ric Flair, and you all pay homage to The Man! WOO!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! i love it! I...love it! I...LOVE IT!

Miz gets no love. It's a fine running joke, but I want to see him look strong again.

Well. Okay. Less weak.

A Dark segment that won't air on SmackDown! this Thurs.

I always enjoy seeing segments like this. If I move half as well as Truth does now in 10 years I'll have accomplished something. Which is sad.
