The Rock left though after that night after Mania. Just Miz and Cena.
The Rock left the night after WM. He wasn't advertised at all for Extreme Rules. The Miz and John Cena came off a very bad main event at WM28. We were in a bad economy. People had streams. Yadda yadda. So shouldn't the buyrate went down? They were interested in the ****ing Rock so shouldn't have buyrates went down or at least not went way like they did? Interest may have been up but that doesnt mean people are shell out money unless they wanna watch. The Miz in the main event got the buy rate to go higher. Your not gonna give him credit cause you hate him. Whatever but him helping out a buyrate is no different from Punk but yet your praising Punk but discounting The Miz.
You keep saying that he drew the lowest PPV draw in five ****ing years but you wont give the man credit when gets the buyrate to go up.
All those factors about Punk was still in play for his match with Cena yet buyrates went way up but NOOOOO you give him credit you wanna say it's all rock and trends, even when Extreme rules had the highest PPV buys in that slot since 2007. But keep on not giving Miz credit.

Rock increasing viewership doesn't get people to buy a show he's not on though. Thats what your not understanding. You keep bringing up a show where Miz show drew ****** buys but don't give the man credit when gets the highest buys in that slot in four years.
1.Rock wasn't on the show for threes weeks afterward so im pretty sure they didn'tYou don't think that just maybe people were hoping The Rock would show up? or were buying it because they knew Cena would take the belt back? or that it was a PPV full of hardcore gimmick matches?
You don't seem grasp my point that he drew a higher buyrate in that slot in four ****ing years. Also that slot has ok business since 09. He got the buyrate to go the highest since 07.

Interest in The Rock doesn't get people to buy a show he wasn't advertise for or even hinted at. It look me buying Summerslam just to see Kevin Nash show up even though he wasn't advertised and I had no idea he'd be there.Interest in the product was still high and that interest slowly bled off. people stayed to watch because they were curious but once they saw it and didn't like it they dropped off. Thats what you can't seem to grasp.
Interest during that quarter of the year was the highest its been in years so of course anything AROUND the period of Wrestlemania is going to be higher. its also the post WM ppv where threads from Wrestlemania are tied up.

2. They wanted to see him get the title back but he was wrestling Miz and Morrison so both guys are still in the picture.
3. The buyrate went over Extreme Rules 10.
