I am sooooo glad I didn't buy the DVD set for my 1st series watch. I had a sneaking suspicion there might be a blu-ray set coming soon with the revival, so I stuck to Netflix. Now it shall be mine.

I rather just stick to Netflix or Amazon. Its been up since '07-'08, so I'll watch it there unless they take it down.

Yeah I'm a special features guy and with 23 hours or so of special features, this is a must buy for me!! Just wish they would wait until season 10 was over so they could include it. I think it would be awesome if Netflix, Amazon or Hulu would pick it up for new episodes and release the entire season in a day like with Daredevil and the such.

Yeah they showed it at a convention in Cannes too, and the press that was there said it was good as well.

A little disappointing to hear that there will only be 2 episodes that deal with the mythology, and 4 that are standalone/monster episodes. I was hoping that since there's only 6 episodes, that they would focus more on the mythology.

Bummer....

it is sounding like episode 1 is kind of retread of gethesmmine/redux/redux II.they will be showing X-files version of roswell.Mulder will come to believe he was wrong and the conspiracy is actully a human one based on ufo recovered at roswell.CSM only shows up at end of episode looking healthy with no explanation how he is alive after events of series finale

It is disappointing there with only 6 episodes are only 2 mythology episodes
especilly since last X-files production was stand alone.i was one who was always more into mythology and stand aone was basicly filler to me.now granted the mythology was never the same after two fathers/one son.I
especilly hated how they resolved samantha in Season 7.

I really hope the show returns to some good ratings. At least 8+ to warrant more mini series seasons.

And shame that had to cancel adding a 7th episode due to scheduling everyone.

As in you disliked Two Fathers, One Son? That could have been the series finale and I would have been satisfied.
