How are they able to convert the original series of X-Files to blu ray? I thought that wasn't possible.

There have been talks about a blu-ray version coming out. FOX has all the masters and Netflix has the first season in widescreen HD. They've been doing the same for Buffy but with a more half-assed job.

Was it filmed on film, then it is super easy.

If it was;t... then that's an issue because 720 digital filming up-converting is hard/messy ala The Wire (has to go back and redo everything), early Smallville/24/Sopranos/et cetera seasons.

Strange thing is i heard rumors of Krycek returning despite Skinner shooting
him in head.although he appeared as ghost or hallunication in series finale.

AS cool as the trailer was it didn't explain that there actually is nothing from Fox, they are expecting you to use streaming services or DVDs it appears. I myself have already been watching them on DVD so it works out for me.

Im watching the seriws on Netflix. Im up to the season 1 episode about the research base in Nome Alaska where the parasites infect them and make them violent. Its no wonder this show freaked me out when I was a kid.
