The X-Men and the Fantastic Four are now part of the Disney-Marvel clan!

Who will get the reboot first?

Fantastic Four is a lot easier to fast track and release within a few years. X-Men will take a little longer but the wait will be worth it!

Welcome home, mutants and FF! :wowe:

As much as I want the X-Men, it will probably/likely be the F4 first for reasons already specified. But that doesn't mean we won't see mutants introduced before the first film

Wow aren't they quick to update their site, Deadpool though needs to be rebooted.

Doing F4 is probably best and faster but I just hope they don't put the X-Men on hold for a long time. Would be nice to get MCU X-Men before 2025

Well let's see...

2020 - The Eternals, Black Widow, Doctor Strange 2
2021 - Black Panther 2, Ant-Man 3, Shang-Chi, Fantastic Four (?)
2022 - Spider-Man 3, Captain Marvel 2, X-Men (?), Avengers 5

That's my guess at least. Three years to make the first X-Men is reasonable I think. I mean Feige can literally hire a writer today if he wants. That's exciting! :D

I don't see more than 3 films a year

Aren't they already planning to do that? With all the properties they have now it's almost essential. And I even forgot Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3. That has to be included somewhere.

I’m among those who would like to see Marvel Studios eventually move up to doing four films per year (one per quarter...say February, May, July, and November). There are obviously more than enough characters to allow for such a release schedule. But, with the new option of doing limited series on Disney Plus instead, they may not take the four film per year route.

with the report/Fact that Kevin Feige has met with Noah Hawley because his Doctor Doom script its to asume that he and Marvel Strudios are more interested in the First Family right now , and maybe the reason for that is that Marvel Studios will give us finally a Great F4 Movie after 3 bad movies under the fox banner

Probably F4 first but we could easily see cameos from X-Men in other MCU films sooner than the first X-Men film.

The Fantastic Four. You can easily integrate them into upcoming films. Alot of their villains and stories are heavily connected to other characters in the Marvel Universe. The X-Men however are almost a universe in themselves, and need to be carefully introduced in the MCU, especially when you have to consider how they are going to have to explain the X-Gene

Hmm I bet they are gonna feature the merry mutants before the first family. But X-Men is my favorite Marvel property and Fantastic Four is the second. So whoever is introduced first is gonna FFreaking eXciting!

Fantastic Four by 2022 or 2023 at the latest

A day unlike any other.

I would bet good money a F4 films comes first. X-men has been a steady franchise and I think Marvel would want some distance. F4 has only had 3 forgettable films in the past 15 years, audience are ready for a crazy pseudo science adventure, and F4 is a perfect property for the ton of the MCU.

He's probably already reviewing candidates today. I doubt they'll move to four films a year just to accommodate the new properties. I'm not sure how far along Eternals are but I would not be surprised to see them put on hold. In fact I always found them such an odd choice a part of me wants to think they are just a ruse so Feige could start work on Fox properties. but that's a pie in the sky thoughts.

Agreed about F4.
Eternals is set to film later this year and if it's put on hold, the only MCU movie we would get next year is Black Widow.

I figure FF would be the easiest to integrate first. Plus, we've at least had a few decent X-Men movies whereas Fantastic Four has had nothing but trash. Let's give them their due.

this is my guess too.

F4 movie announced in 2020 at the very late. so filming in 2021 likely, and that would mean a 2022 release. 7 years after Fox last attempt. perfectly fine time gap between both versions.
