Days of Future Past The "X-Men" role in the movieverse (Prime and Sigma)

So essentially, in the movieverse Timeline Prime the X-Men are not Superheroes. They are Charles' bodyguards and supporters, professors of the School and occasionally members of a TASK FORCE aimed to stop any mutant threat.

It seems to me they are:

1- Teachers, apart Logan who is a sort of "technician/supporter" for the School.
2- Xavier's bodyguards.
3- Members of the "X-MEN" task force, but they have had very few missions because no many mutants had the balls to challenge society and government.

Largely speaking, they are the "Men of Xavier", as hinted by Moira in First Class. His "bishops".


I just think they will turn the X-Men in a version closer to the comic books now that we're following Timeline Sigma.
