Aright, you're flip flopping a bit now. Don't let Maniac sway you're vision.

Why would 3 separate team that are all within the same universe and continuity but addressing different issues be too much? Some people buy 15 different comic books every Wednesday. 4 different X books a month.

You just said that you wouldn't mind one being done every year but if done right this would be a great solution.

You wouldn't be hard up counting all the sequels because you'd be enjoying them as they come.

So in my opinion:
Three "X" teams.... (X-men being the mother ship with other 2 teams being smaller but still connected)
With separate responsibilities....
Facing 3 different type of villains....(They have plenty but still make them relevant " Juggernaut")
In a shared universe that's much closer than anything Avengers have done...

Sounds much better than the current random X film with X-characters shoehorned in it with no solid background, continuity or relevance.
Not flip flopping , just dont exactly know where you both differ. Three team films launching at the same time could be overkill but I can for sure see them building up to that. But not out of nowhere all at once. They need to establish first why they need another team to go covert, working for the Government or that theres a team of younger students in a film. One flick a year is a good start to that imo. Cant throw all that on the table at once though. The teams need to be eased into, since they all essentially spinoff off from the same big team . Has to be handled a little different then Marvels films who have character origins from their own books first.

Other team movies would be good for the franchise. Hell, I think they have to go that route in order to evolve and develop characters right. It will be a horrible move on Fox if they dont do that and waste all their X Men properties. I agree with that 100% and think when they would do a big X crossover like AOA it could be more effective cause of it. Thats how a big story like that should be done, no questions about it.

That will actually be quite cool, im really hoping that DOFP will draw a whole new timeline for the franchise, so that they dont have to worry about the original trilogy anymore and can just do whatever they want.

I really would love a X-Force film, as well as Marauders film (Im a GAMBIT fan)!

Don't get me wrong, I would like to see more teams. Absolutely! Bring it on.

I thought it might be logical for them to be shown spinning off within an existing film, before they get their own film, so it feels like it's part of one big canvas, rather than simply launching another film series with a new team. But it could work I guess.

I'm open to many more mutants appearing on screen and I realise that just adding them into one set of films would just make them more and more crowded.

Hobbit 3, day one. (My girl just happens to love LOTR's)
GotG two weeks later. (Now this I'm excited for)
DOFP on Netflix. (maybe)

If the release dates stay as it is, definitely seeing X-men midnite and won't be seeing The Hobbit. Simple as that.
