Theater stages armed raid of Iron Man screening.

......I cannot comprehend the pure stupidity behind this move. Why would you do this? Where is the logic? Is there logic?

I like that the manager was trying to entertain his customers and make it a bigger&fun experience But he simply should have had people dressed up as Iron Man 3 characters..In the lobby or in the theater screening room before the movie started then leave as commercials started.

Instead he ended up scaring the crap out of people including(most likely)kids and cops were called in panic,Plus the fake gunmen could have been in danger IF people fought back or a cop was there!

And he keeps defending it by saying that "his job" is to entertain his customers. No, his job is to play the movie his customers paid to see.

I was at the first showing of Iron Man 3, and my theater had a trivia contest before the movie and gave away free posters as prizes. That's how you can entertain customers before a movie, if you want to add extra festivities. Everyone had noticed the extra security at the theater, so I don't think Aurora was too far from anyone's minds that night.

What an idiot.

Dear theater manager,

How arrogant to think people would want to see his little performance. We have people dress up at the local theater. It was especially great during Alice in Wonderland. However I pay to see a movie not some wannabes running around the theater like idiots.

Have we even seen agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. dressed like that?

What the...

This cannot be real. How does anyone this mentally deficient get a manager's position?

What I find strange is that at least one of the employees of this megalomaniac didn't protest or refuse to do it. "Ah.... sir. I know you wanna drum up business for your crappy, run-down theater, but charging around a crowded theater with fake guns in a superhero costume wasn't in my job description. So..... yeah."

He's probably got them all brainwashed into thinking he's some sort of maverick.

I saw the movie, it doesn't need help being entertaining. Judging by the numbers it posted, no one was bored just watching it to need some employees to excite the audience.

I just considered another aspect of this dumbassery. This is akin to yelling "fire!" in a crowded theater. He could have easily caused a deadly stampede.
