Theory if Papa Petrelli dies

We all know Peter will get his powers back. I think the common thought is that he will be given the formula and then get his original powers back, but I was thinking maybe that when or if Papa Petrelli dies that he could release the powers back out and all that he took powers from would regain them. Just a thought.
