Theory: No bombing = Birth of a new villian

In last night's episode Molly mentions a person that's worse than Sylar. This got me thinking. In the future where the bomb/Peter does go off. It seems that the only real threat is Nathan/Sylar. And it seems that new villain hasn't appear yet. What if this was the "real" reason why Mama Patrelli & her group wanted the bomb/Peter to go off The death of millions, as a result of the bombing, was a way to please this new guy, like he's a God or some ****. He's pleased with the results and holds back on any future attack that would've killed millions more.

Of course there's also a possibility that the new villain was also in the blast radius. And he's/she's/it's/ amongst the million of New Yorkers that Peter kills off. While Peter killed millions of innocents. He also managed to kill off the next big threat, after Sylar, by accident.

Just a thought.

It is often reported that those who take rocks from the formation will be cursed and suffer misfortune. There have been many instances where people who removed such rocks attempted to mail them back to various agencies in an attempt to remove the perceived curse.

First of all, it's so cool that you did the research. Rocky, I bet you were a good student. And we love your theories. There's a little something from each of them. Spritual. Battles. Civilization. If you look a little further into Australlian mythology, you'll find one part that you're missing.

We liked that one too – and in some ways – you're right Brian. And in other ways, not so right. There's a part of the Uluru mythology that no one has tapped into – not yet.

I think that the new villain could even force Sylar to help out everyone else. One the show no one is god like, not even Sylar. So this new villain should be interesting since it will be someone with powers. Sylar path to power was great but the new villain isn't going to need that.

Seeing Sylar trying to fight along side the other Heroes would be a difficult thing to do without making it lame but if done well could be extremely cool

I still think it was the new villain that pulled Sylar into the sewers, but that's just me. I think it would be cool if Sylar became Lestat-like in that he tries to become a good guy because of the rise of this new villain, but has what would then be an internal conflict of having to kill and eat the brains of those he needs to gain powers from. I'd love to see the moral agony of needing to obtain a power to help fight the new villain and agonizing over killing again to do it...

[The Question]

Here's my theory:

Next season's "big bad" will be Uluru. Uluru will be one of three things:

1) An extremely powerful Hero who's been around for a very long time, and who's actions have inspired some folk tales.

2) The first Hero, who is somehow the source of all the other Heroes' powers, and who is himself incredibly powerful.

3) Some sort of spiritual/metaphysical entity with ties to Australian mythology who is somehow connected to the Heroes' powers.

I'm quite partial to the third option myself. If it is the case, then my theory on his exact nature is that he's the living embodyment of the Earth, which is the source of all the Heroes powers as they serve as a sort of immune system for the planet.

However, now that I think of it, that really wouldn't make a villain. Seemly a major, neutral force. So, my theory, revised even further, is that the next big villain will somehow relate to the Dragon of the Kensei story (if that osn't Uluru aswell).

I doubt they'd do something like that, since most of Xavier's powers have been split amongst other heroes. Parkman can read minds, Eden could persuade people, and Molly can sense them.

I agree 100%. I believe Sylar really died in a no ressurrection sort of way because after he falls to the ground and tries to see the future he can only see himself laying on the ground dead. During the aftermath a new villian grabbed Sylar and pulled him into the sewers. What the villian plans for Sylar remains to be seen.
