There Remaking "The Hulk" check it out

I really don't see why they want to remake Hulk when they could just approach the comics by making a sequel to Hulk(2003)

*Sigh* oh well, this Hulk fan will always remember the Hulk (2003), as the best Hulk Movie ever.

Hulk Begins ???? seems an odd approach this soon but could work.this would mean no Bana most likely

oh holy **** that better not be true.
this is terrible for me. I hate it. it is too soon, hunter. i'll just say it. damn the responses... it's going to be a boom smash smash xxx and furious popcorn flick too. And... It's a slap in the face to people who actually liked ang lee's "crouching hulk, hidden poodle" movie. I did.

I could rant on and on but I won't. Mark my words though. We will see the quality of comicbook movies go right back where they were in 1997 and then we'll cry again for better. It's already begun and it's so clear to me that that's where it's heading... oh whatever though. i'll just sit back and watch.

Maybe they figured that if they made a sequel that everyone who hated the first one wouldn't go see it.Maybe Hulk this time won't be CGI,maybe they will give him a suit like The Thing had in the Fantastic Four movie.

I think he means they're making Hulk 2 a different tone.

Personally i think the best alternative for the goliath hulk in Ang Lees film is a body builder digitally enhanced by cgi, so it would be a blend of both.

That's terrible news for anybody who wants two see this movie suck two times.... (though i'm seriously a huge fan of the first)

This is rediculous..... I'm seriously upset over this.... we get all this buullsh** for a month about a sequel to a prefectly good movie and now a "re-do" thats terrible!!! I really hope they reconsider this whole idea and just go along with the sequel...

And what would be a real hulk movie? The first one was awesome, the only thing that was wrong with it were the dogs and the split screens.

How could it be hulkier? The best solution for that would be to make it a cartoon but then nobody would go see it.

How about being a more faithful translation of the comic book and the character? Lee's Hulk was utter garbage.

What do you mean he was utter garbage?

Don't take this the wrong way but i think it's quite clear what he means

Avi said they were doing a lighter sequel, now this.

I have the strong impresion the baldie's saying just what people want to hear.

god damn i hope this isnt true. F**K A HULK RE-DO. Hulk was a great movie and got all that "hard to translate to movies" origin out of the way. lets continue the movie hulks journey and face him against the ABOMINATION and set up THE LEADER for Hulk 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I would give it a chance. Though Ang's had it's problems, I enjoyed it.I just hope they don't go body builder or man in suit...that would be laughable.

Let´s forget the utter garbage bit for a second...
How is that Lee´s Hulk is not faithful?
Do you even know who Hulk is?

As for remaking Hulk......i love Lee´s Hulk, it´s, IMO, the best comic book movie so far...but i´m all for it :o
Just not now, wait a few years

Restarting the franchise is completely unnecessary at this point. F**k Marvel if this is really their plan. I already hate them after releasing such crap as Fantastic 4, X-Men 3, Punisher, Elektra... Seriously, how does this s**t get green lighted?

You mean that he sucked? He powned in Hulk (2003). If he was unstoppable, then there would be no point in the movie. They have to make it suspensful to keep the audiences interest.

If not then people would be like: "Wow this is predictable, look he's against this 800 feet killing machine. Let me guess, hulk is obviously going to beat him." *10 seconds later* "Yep, what did I tell you, this movie is so predictable now that hulk is unstoppable. This movie is pointless"

There's such a thing called OP you know.

I actually have mixed feelings... I would like them to make the sequel an actual sequel. But I was disappointed in the whole "origin" of Hulk in Ang's version. I am not taking anything away from Ang Lee as a director, nothing of the kind. But the whole origin of Hulk was a bit off. I mean and I know someone mentioned why, but we needed Rick Jones for one. The Spider-Man movie was fairly close to the actual origin. I think the Hulk's should stay as close to true to the comic as possible. The testing took place, not in a lab, but on a military base right? And I also had a problem with the villain in the first Hulk movie. I mean Bruce's dad and super poodles???? I would LOVE to see Abomination this time, have the movie do well and then come back in the next movie with "THE LEADER". Then you can do villains like Rhino etc....Just my thoughts. I also would really like it if Eric Bana was back as Banner. To me he played Bruce Banner very well. And most definitely bring back General Thunderbolt Ross. The Army always has to be a part of the Hulk pictures. Anyway, I welcome your thoughts everyone. I am mainly just stoked that this is finally starting to actually happen.

I actually found Bruce's dad to be the perfect villain for "origin". The dogs and especially the poodle were uncalled for.
