I think if it was all about the money, she would have disposed of the body and not kept it around the house.

^ Yea, that's my thinking too. Keeping it around the house makes it easier to get caught than if she'd gotten rid of it somewhere.

Well, I don't think she is of sound mind anyway, whether she kept the body to not be lonesome or to purposefully hide it to collect his SS. And a 72 year old woman would probably have a hard time disposing of a body, it might have been easier for her to keep the body and hope no one checks on it.

Uhh, the man's own son kept on trying to check on his dad and she wouldn't let him into the house because she was concealing the corpse. She. Deserves. Prison. Seriously, she had no right to do that.

This case is understandably shocking, but I highly doubt she goes to prison. The court will mandate some counseling and possibly rule her incompetent, necessitating a move to supervised housing.
