want to know what i dont understand? ( thats purely rhetorical!).. i dont understand this love for ZOMBIES! whats up with that?!
i mean they're slow,not very intelligent, only have one food staple and stink!(okay i will give you they are pretty good break dancers in THRILLER) but thats about it! i dont get the allure! i mean in every thing I've seen they're pretty much just scenery for the hero to wade thru! i dont get this ZOMBIE LOVE!
They are very ineffectual threats when you get right down to it.. kinda like STORMTROOPERS!!.... and Hey! while on the subject of STORMTROOPERS....

Zombies are a mass of monsters. They make up for their slowness and otherwise inept danger by sheer numbers.

One zombie. Not a problem. One hundred zombies, they will chew you up. Literally.

I don't understand how someone can get so offended about an accusation of a celebrity and waste so much time defending them to the ends of the earth, i.e. the closed Bryan Singer thread.

There are about three easy reasons.

1. Romero's first two zombie movies, Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead, are better than pretty much any horror movie ever besides a very select few.

2. A zombie apocalypse of all potential apocalypses would be the one where we would most likely win. Aliens would kill us super easy unless we're at Star Trek level technology. Vampires would be very difficult for the average guy to stop, and werewolves would rip us to shreds. Demons would just get ugly really fast. Zombies can be stopped with good planning though. That makes it more fun to imagine for some people.

3. The Walking Dead tv show. Since a lot of people won't, or can't, read then they get to have a little bit of dat Kirkman goodness.

I can't understand the inexplicably need some people have for keeping their music at maximum volumes. The guy that lives below me blasts that popular mexican music stuff at full volume, rattling the floor and furniture. I call the cops, and he turns it down for a bit, then shortly after the cops leave, he jacks the volume again. What is the appeal in making your ears bleed listening to your music?
