Remember the guy who is send out at the end to tell the story and who pretty much narrates the story? The entire movie is told through his point-of-view...correct?! So, do you think he exaggerated or made things up? If so, it would explain the giant animals and weird looking people.

Ok I'll just copy what I said there. Yeah that's why we get this kicka$$ account of things instead of the accurate portrayal of events. Thanks old dude lol. But really its because Zacks telling Millers story. Who was retelling the story of the movie he saw when he was 5. That was based of a battle that happened in 480 BC.

of course he exaggerated

thats the point

old men and verterans always exaggerate th battle
especially in the old days

its kinda like a fisherman exaggerating the size of the fish he almost caught

Well, yeah, but it makes me curious now. What if they got their ass wooped in the first battle and this guy comes back with a crazy story. lol.

I think you've missed the point entirely. It's not a big fish tail. It's a way of teaching Spartans who they are. It's not about personal glory; it's about what it means to be Spartan.

Agreed. Its a motivational tale, I guess.

I haven't read the original book or know much about the story but that only made it that much better for me.

Exactly! And speaking of the weird looking people, did Quasi Moto die?
