Then you didn't read the honest feedback and critique that people like myself, Erzengel, BlackHardKnight and CyrusBales gave you. I'm done trying to help you at this point. Go wallow in your self pity.

Oh i've read that stuff i see what they mean.

I'm talking about the last few pages. Nothing but people taking shots.

But i guess like you said i'll just grow thicker skin.

And just have to fix the dialogue and cut a lot of it out.

At least he actually read your advice. Seriously, anything involving writing means you have to have a tough skin as well as be open to critique. I guess he doesn't want to get published very badly *shrugs*

People seem to be criticising your approach to dialogue, saying it's unrealistic, so why don't you go with that? Write a surrealist piece instead? Change a few pieces round and you could have your own style, play up to what you can do, not screw around with something you can't. At least give it a shot...

I think I was being honest about your script. I really think you need to either take a class or go to the library and take out some Screenwriting books. Maybe also pick up some creative writing books as well.

If you look past most of the insults, a lot of people were trying to help you and like somebody said, you need to grow a thick skin in this business.
Well it's kinda hard to to take a class on something when nothing like that is even in my area. And plus it costs money which i don't have cause i have no money cause i have no money. And i don't feel like asking family for the money cause they already think i'm enough of a loser already.

The only thing i have going for me is i have a library right down the street from me. Does it cost anything to join a library?

No, you can get a library card for free.

Most libraries will give you a free library card and only charge you late fees if your books/materials are overdue for return. I have heard however, that in the Buffalo NY area they are discussing a user fee due to the lack of funding available.

Okay so library cards are free.

I might go down there so and look into that.

What section would the these books be under? And how late does a library usually say open? It's 3:15pm where i am.

Umm, I haven't gone through this whole thread to see if anyone addressed this, but spellcheck barely catches ANY errors. You really need to have it professionally edited if you plan on sending it to anyone and having them take it seriously.
Professionally Edited? You mean let someone look over the whole thing and correct the errors?

I think library hours vary....I'm sure it would still be open now though. Most libraries have an electronic computer system where you can look up book subjects. You should probably search for script writing and editing.

Warning though- I know people who are majoring in film, and professional scripts are VERY hard to write.....so just know that you have a lot of revising and editing ahead of you. In these situations, don't consider it ever "done," always think in terms of there can always be things to improve.

Yes, and have someone go through it with you and discuss possible options for things.

And where can i get this done? And how much would it cost me?

A good professional editor will also help you "trim the fat" (remove unnecessary and confusing lines/paragraphs/scenes). Unfortunatly, that WILL cost money.

And the subject to look up would be "script writing" and "film production"

The library looks very old school. Like it doesn't have any electronic computer system. Just the old systemn of looking.

I know its not done. That's why i said rough draft before. Cause i know its far from being done.

Like i said where can i find these people? And has anyone ever had this done and does it cost a whole lot of money.

Look for options in your area or google search it as well. I'm pretty sure that most places you can just send in your script.....I'm sure costs vary depending on the editor.
I've never had it done.
