But then why did she keep going on about how Clark was insecure and needy and too focused on his own feelings? Is normal Lana supposed to feel that way? That's what confused me. They were really inconsistent, with all of that going on one minute (not to mention her "To breakfast!" toast) and then all that "We can be together forever" stuff going on the next.

He turned her down in the dorm room when she made it clear what she wanted. I think she was just upset about that. After getting his powers back he's probably been holding out on her for some "feeling" reason that normal Lana probably deals with but it would have to sting.
