Well wouldn't one call Frank's style noir? part of noir is that all of your characters are portrayed with flaws, worts and all. That includes the protagonist(hence DKR was the birth of "Ahole Batman").

Interesting how he said its "perishable". Thats because that old piece of cloth stands for something patriots have to be vigilant in defending. Not just abroad either, but at home too.
