I just went to order Mad Beyond Thunderdome on DVD from Play and they don't have it,as in it doesn't exist except as part of a trilogy pack

Go to Amazon
Ok... my anger was premature......but dammit Play never usually lets me down
in all fairness its not exactly a movie in high demand....yeah amazon would be the best bet. lots of rarities on there...never been a fan of play.com really.
I love Play-! I just ordered TMNT III, and it was only £2.99.
Correction; I just ordered TMNT III, because it was only £2.99.
Ha! got the first TMNT there for the same price, now i await them getting "Peter Benchley's:The Beast"t:
That's so weird, I was just looking for the novel in my bedroom.
....Sadly they are only stocking Peter Benchley's Creature at the moment and for £7.98
Wait...you dont like the first mad max, but you like that atrocity Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome? You're crazy or stupid or both
And why is the movie called Creature when the novel is called White Shark?

Yeah, I was wondering the same...Wait...you dont like the first mad max, but you like that atrocity Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome? You're crazy or stupid or both
...but this explains it. To me MMBT is like X3 or Batman Forever.i don't know if i like Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome,it's as easy to buy it for £4 as rent it so i can find out
You know what's the stupidest thing that happens to me?
See I keep up online with release dates for DVDs. And as an admirer of older, lesser known films, I make a point to get them on DVD as well.
Well, Frys Electronics, for reasons that escape me, put out DVDs on the shelves prior to their release date. Now alot of other places around home like Best Buy and Barnes & Noble do the same thing. I mean on the shelves, you can hold it in your hand...and bring it to the register.
Now the other stores, they'll let you buy what you want if you have it in hand, and they are aware that the DVD you're purchasing is pre-official release.
But Frys...they don't...
If you take a DVD up to the register before it's official release date, Frys will tell you...to your face...that you cannot buy it at that time and that you have to wait until the official release date.
Just to clarify, you are AT THE REGISTER, with the DVD in your hand, and on that DVD is a barcode that can be scanned, followed by an exchange of money/credit for said DVD...and they will tell you no.

Yeah, how can you like Road Warrior and Beyond Thunderdome and not like Mad Max? That's like liking Empire and Return but not liking Star Wars. It's totally illogical.

Same price on CDWOW and the delivery is free. EDIT: Nevermind, I always forgot that HMV's delivery to the UK is free. Not worldwide...
