Is there any dream movie that you have had in your mind??,like a whole movie you imagined that feels real cause you keep imagining it!

I've got so many,But one would have to be a new Mortal Kombat movie!A trilogy filmed back to back with the directors bros from The Matrix trilogy& V for Vendetta that is pretty much like the games come to life!(except the gore likely saved for Director's cuts on dvd&blu-ray)

A cast with people like Keanu Reeves as Johnny Cage,Hugo Weaving as Raiden,Tony Ja as Liu Kang(or as Kung Lao,Micheal Jai White as Jax,The blonde from Heroes(not Haiden)as Sonya Blade,WWE's Kane as Shao Khan and Ray Park as Scorpion!

Story(and most of part 1)starts with the first MK tournament and Kung Lao vs Shang Tsung to be MK's champion as a big focus,Ending of part one showing present day and fighters from around the world getting invitations to new MK tournament with them showing up in Outer realm somehow and part 2&3 can go in many"epic"ways.

Oh and another big story plot I'd have is a focus on Scorpion&Sub-Zero's feud!(showing there past with there clans&family and all)

movies I would like to see made...

Ghostbusters 3 (with all 4 busters back)
The Dark Knight Returns (with Keaton as batman)
Return to the Labyrinth (David Bowie as Jareth)
BoNe (based on Jeff Smith's comic)
Usagi Yojimbo (in a violent Sin City style)
Legend of Zelda
Escape from the Earth (3rd Snake Plissken film)

A Terminator sequel retconning all continuations post-T2, with James Cameron back at the helm. Such a long shot.

House Of Frankenstein: Set in modern Los Angeles; A violent thriller with Dracula, The Wolfman, and Frankenstein's monster.

Directed by Guillermo del Toro and Co-Written by him and Andrew Kevin Walker.

A tone similar to Se7en, with a great mix of practical and computer generated effects, and the direction of Del Toro would make this the movie I could see then die happy.

Freaky... As soon as I saw the thread title I immediately thought "Mortal Kombat movie". Except I was thinking a 4 hour movie that shifts focus on all the classic pre-MK trilogy characters, sortof like "Love Exposure" but with more characters. And ultra gory. This will never happen of course but its good to dream.

An adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian by either the Coen Brothers or Clint Eastwood. I doubt it'll ever happen though, way to violent but in need of quite a sizable budget.

When I'm especially bored I dream of a sci-fi war movie. It's essentially WWII in space, with the Galactic Empire allying themselves with, Trade Federation Droids as well as Skynet and it's Terminators in order to take over the universe.

Standing in their way are the Allies, essentially the RDA from Avatar, the Colonial Marines from Aliens, the Federation from Starship Troopers and Universal Soldiers.

Then it's non stop hardcore bloody Black Hawk Down/Saving Private Ryan epic battles.

isnt this thread proof why we get so many sequels and remakes?

Not really, none of us are writers or film makers. The real writers and film makers don't have any excuses! :D

Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie set after Joss Whedons comics.
Fringe movie
A 3rd X-Files movie to finally end te story arc that started in the series finalle.

all my dream movies are original. why would i dream about sequels, prequels or book adaptations?

Fair point. I wouldn't really know how to put my actual "dream" movie into words though i don't think.

So i just picked a movie i'd really like to see someday.

Same here, but i picked 3

That's already kind of happening...

X3: Singer and his crew coming back to helm with the focus on the Phoenix story and Cyclops taking the front seat. With pretty much everything that sucked in the film gone or made better.

SM3: Harry and Sandman being the villains with no symbiote. Brock could still play a role though.

Batman Forever: More in line with the original script and darker overall.

Or a Burton and Keaton third Batman film that never happened with Williams as Two-Face and Robin Williams as Riddler.

But here's some dream movies:

A David Fincher directed Batman film. Just one. I only need one. It can be anything. Although I'd prefer a Batman film to be a murder mystery with some of the villains being all suspects. Maybe someone like the Joker is framed for these crimes and the Riddler may come in and consult. Or take one or the other out.

A Bioshock film directed by someone great with Daniel day Lewis playing Andrew Ryan. More of the origin of Rapture and its fall.

Left 4 Dead with Jeff Bridges playing Bill, Rooney Mara as Zoey, Chris Pine as Francis, and Mos Def or some other good black actor for Louis.

A Scooby Doo movie directed by Tim Burton in tone with the original show. Hell, it could even take place in the 60's maybe.

Indiana Jones V with the trio returning for one last hurrah.

A remake of The Creature from the Black Lagoon directed by Del Toro.

A proper Alex Rider movie

A Bioshock movie would be great. It's story is already a movie waiting to happen. In the right hands, of course.

And Fincher doing a Batman movie is a dream for me too.

A (good) Seven Samuria remake set in a Afghanistan town with American troops.
By good I don't mean something that stars Keanu Reeves and is shot like a Michael Bay movie.

Dr Doolittle re made... not the stupid eddie murphy remake, but something that actually sticks to the story ( I wanna see a CGI giant pink sea snail :D... oooh and a pushmepullyou)

Terry Brooks: Voyage of the Jerle Shannara, as a triology

Neil Gaiman - Neverwhere, with a full British cast

Vlad the Drac - just loved that book as a kid, and thought it'd make a great kids movie

A proper third American Tail movie rounding out Fievel's story in the first two and directed by Steven Spielberg or Don Bluth.

A proper M*A*S*H remake.

Pulp superhero serials of characters like Batman, Superman, The Phantom, The Shadow, etc. that play in theaters.

Sergio Leone's take on The Phantom he was planning that we'll never see.

A proper theatrical Scooby-Doo movie written WELL as a comedy mystery film.

Proper live-action anime adaptions of series I love.

you've never ever had any idea/hopes&dreams for a possible sequel/prequel or adaption??

you never had a movie set up in your mind for GL before details for this one came out and thought about your own actors/characters/costumes and direction??

I still don't even get how this is proof for all prequel/sequel&adaption being made out there!

I have another one, a movie about Edward William Barton-Wright.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_William_Barton-Wright

Before Randy Couture and the Ultimate Fighting Championship, there was Edward William Barton-Wright and bartitsu. Bartitsu was probably the first instance of what we know today as mixed martial arts. Mr. Barton combined elements of boxing, jujitsu, cane fighting, and french kick boxing in order to create a self defense system that could be used by discerning gentlemen on the mean streets of Edwardian London. It grew to such popularity that even Sherlock Holmes was practicing bartitsu in his mysterious adventures.
