So we had the big thanksgiving feast at work for lunch today. I'm stuffed and want to take a nap. They gave out cash prizes for the top 3 sides and desserts. Here are some pics:

Just pulled the trigger on $1,500 worth of sound gear. Got 2 powered 15" Peavey dark matter speakers, 18" Peavey Dark Matter sub, a 5-pack of XLR's, speaker stands, and a Mackie 8 channel mixer. Super excited since now I don't have to worry about borrowing gear for my gigs.

I've won several potluck prizes at work: for my orange-zest shortbread, for my southwestern beef brisket with baked beans, and for my pulled pork sliders.

I do a monthly party out here and also various events throughout the year around the state. Not having speakers has been holding me back so now that problem is solved which hopefully leads to more gigs.
