This Means War for McG

Because it would be stupid for an organization who handles important worldwide matters, to limit themselves to citizens of one country.

Yes but he's not in a British field office. Seems like he's operating from the States. Probably ex SAS or something, so why isn't he with Mi6/5?

Not a big deal to me, just curious.

Affirmative action.

Who are you and what have you done with ISS? :cmad: :woot:
lol I'll admit it can be seen as a shocking opinion for me to have considering how much I blast these types of films.

Or maybe the smoking hot guys have clouded my judgement? :oldrazz:

Some people are trashing this movie, but I think it just looks like fun. I hate McG with a passion, but if the script is witty and the action is good, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Pine and Hardy are always charismatic and Reese CAN be (and even if she isn't, she's still easy on the eyes).

Reminded me of the running gag in Star Trek, with Bones repeatedly injecting Kirk with inoculations.

"I can fix that!"

"Stop it!"

:awesome:

Someone made a comment on CS.net about Kirk vs. Shinzon. Ha.

LOS ANGELES — The Classification and Rating Appeals Board today upheld the R rating given to the movie This Means War. The Classification and Rating Administration (CARA) had assigned the movie the R rating for “some sexual content.” In the appeal brought by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, the Appeals Board heard statements on behalf of This Means War from Ted Gagliano, President, Feature Post Production for Twentieth Century Fox. The Classification and Rating Administration was represented by Chairman Joan Graves.

hilarious he makes terminator salvation pg13 but a rom com action film rated r LOL

They'll re-edit as obviously the other aspects of the movie pass for PG-13 and Fox will not release this an R.

MCG made the decision that the rating will be PG13 in terminatro salvation? not the studio who payed 200 millions?

For some reason his more raunchy side comes off when it comes to comedies as opposed to actual gritty action.

Works both ways.
The studio was willing to spend alot of T:S but would demand a PG-13 rating. You just have to find a director who will make a PG-13 movie.
WB is as much to blame for the rating as McG.

Kirk Vs. Bane! OH YEAH!

Worthington is just boring to watch. Suits try and shove him down our throats, but I don't hear about anyone besides Fanboy/Net dwellers care or even talk about him. If someone couldnt really catch on after starring in one of the biggest movies ever I doubt he will ever catch on

I don't mind him although he's better off not getting typecasted as a guy struggling with his humanity.

Awh, they trimmed down the sexual content...

Always found Reese Witherspoon extremely hot and cute at the same time. And now a lot of potential is being thrown away. GAAAHHH

Awh, they trimmed down the sexual content...

The MPAA initially gave it an R-rating just because Chelsea Handler made some raunchy jokes, which Fox promptly cut. No scandalous sexual content, just the MPAA being hypocrites as always. I'm not a fan of Handler, but I would've loved to hear those supposedly R-rated jokes and judge for myself.

I personally thought The Ugly Truth was a PG-13 movie with R-rated wrapping. And it was a hit for Sony. It hardly had any raunchy jokes -- edit out the F-bombs and it's any vanilla PG-13 rom-com.

mclay18, you can just watch Handler's awful show on E! if you want that.

I personally don't care for Handler so I don't really think I will miss her raunchy jokes.

I still can't believe Ugly Truth was an R. My feeling is, if you are an R-rating, dang well earn it.

No surprise that they made the cuts, and the fact it's only a couple of Handler jokes means it's irrelevant.

I mean think about this . . . Minority Report was PG-13. And they only made some minor cuts down from an R.

That should just show you how insane the MPAA is with their ratings.

According to Trey Parker, they didn't get the joke about BIGGER LONGER and UNCUT for the South Park movie until it was too late.
