Or Enchantress and Execuitioner working Malekith who is using them as pawns to carry out he and Loki's plans (with Loki being behind the scene of course).

Karnilla also could work here, replacing Malekith, imo.

Karnilla is more often shown as Loki's ally, she certainly played that role in the first Thor script. As far as villains go she tends to keep her end of the bargain. Malekith, on the otherhand, almost trumps Loki as the poster child for Chronic Backstabber Disorder. If they decide to throw all of them together they better have a damn good screenwriter...

I like Malekith better, not to mention the fact that he looks cooler.

The writers should look to Simonson's iteration of the character: a sadistic, smooth-talking dandy. I can even imagine his theme sounding a bit like so:

Yeah but that's IF they use him as one of the villains in THOR 2.

Then he'll be in the third installment. Surtur's flame was in the treasure room along with the casket, that's a clue to the direction they're going in IMO.

I'd rather see him sooner but I suppose I could wait until Thor 3.

Michelle Williams is getting alot of good buzz for "My Week with Marilyn". Marvel might want to grab her before she gets an oscar so she can bring some more power to the Thor cast as Enchantress?

I'm still hoping for Christian McKay (Me and Orsen Wells) as Malekith. That would rock

Her face is a little too round for Enchantress in my opinion, but she definately has the acting chops and I suppose those are far more important than looking the part.

They seem talented enough to tackle similar roles. Unfortunately, I can tell that no amount of SFX makeup is going to make either of them resemble those characters enough to get the part.

That's what I was thinking when I saw those pictures.

I remember people on these boards said the same thing about Ledger and the Joker and we know how that turned out.

Now that I've seen a few 'Sherlock' outakes, I'm beginning to think that Benedict Cumberbatch could make an awesome Malekith:

I'm not familar with his work but he definately has the "look" to play Malekith.

He was in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and he played the lead in the telly series "Sherlock". Soon you will see him in "The Hobbit" as both Smaug and The Necromancer.

Quite impressed with that Benedict Cumberbatch guy from that little clip.

If MARVEL are indeed looking at him for Dr. Strange as has been suggested then I approve.

To me, the actress' look isn't as important as her attitude. Enchantress needs to be a seductress, and I just can't see Michelle Williams pulling that off. She's too Tess Trueheart for that.

How about one of these lovely French ladies for The Enchantress? -

Hela can also be used as sort of a Grey area character not as an actual Villain, maybe Thor goes to her for answers and she tests him in some way then gives it up.

That sounds much better than Hela being an actual villain.

Benedict Cumberbatch would be great but If he has the time with The Hobbit movies, Star Trek 2 and another season Sherlock all going down.
