I know we established this is probably the Son of Asgard DTV footage, but damn, young Thor sure looks like Prince Adam from the 2002 He-Man & the Masters of the Universe (albeit with long hair).![]()

I dont recall seeing this on any of the comics blogs before. Fabios name comes up time and again as the perfect living model for The Mighty Thor, but recent casting rumors dont look good for our pal Fabio.
The Italian actor and model was so enthusiastic about the prospect, that some years ago he went ahead with his own animated version of the Norse legend. Dead in development, apparently.
I know posting this will out me as someone who looks at Fabios official website.
It was for reference purposes! Yeah, thats it!

. I mean it's obvious they are going for a vaguely anime inspired look but the execution looks rather unpolished compared to the real article. If you are going to go that route you might as well hire the folks who made The Last Airbender or a decent Japanese animation studio
...I think pretty much the only time I've sat back and thought "this is solid animation" during a Marvel/Lionsgate movie was for Hulk vs. Wolverine. Every other animated movie Marvel and Lionsgate have put out looks cheap even by direct-to-DVD standards.
No those were from a cartoon that didn't make it.Please please please tell me those arent the actual designs for this new series.

I should have known.Yeah they delayed the movie to market it with the upcoming hype for Live Action Thor.
PS. Delicious Loli-Sif ass!![]()
Not really Thor's animated series but still worth sharing. Thor's first minisode leading into the Avengers cartoon that premieres next month:
Yes he does. He had a Knife hidden in a cave with a curse on it. Pym andLoki usually doesn't bother with a weapon at all. His magic's usually enough. But a spear works for me.
