Thor's Action scenes

No problem, but there can be some cool scenes cut that are in the script just as easy as scenes added that aren't in it. (see the script Thread)

I hope most of the cool scenes stay in the film, or atleast are shot so that they appear in the deleted scenes when Thor comes to dvd/blu-ray.

I don't know what kind of action Angamb is looking for, but what i've seen has been totally impressive!

Now if we see Thor twirl his hammer and transport from one place to another, Marvel and the movie crew are really up on their game!

I feel the EXACT same way, and I would love for Thor to use his hammer to transport between long distances (but I doubt it'll be in the film).

The only thing I'm worried about not seeing in Thor now is a massive feat of superhuman strength. Heck, I would even settle for seeing him lift a huge boulder or a very large vehicle like a "bus" or something.

I think we will get an idea of his strength level on earth when he takes on the Destroyer

I don't know about you guys, but this is one of the most pathetic fight scenes I've ever seen:

Who cares, I'm pretty sure everyone here is more focused on seeing Thor fight with his powers intact. Besides, that fight was fairly average it wasn't really that bad.

Oh and that wasn't an entire fight scene, just a clip of a short scuffle during a fight scene.

I must admit that I wasn't very impressed by that clip either, but I know that one clip does not necessarily reflect the whole movie.
I still have high hopes and expectations.

It's hard to judge the clip when it's edited to hell. I guarantee you the fight lasts longer than it did in the clip and we'll get a context of why Hawkeye is up on the cherry picker.

They are trying to show scenes that don't give away too much. You won't see an Asguard scene released until right near release of the film or perhaps not at all.

The one mistake Iron Man 2 made was it released way too many crucial clips. I thought it was not good to release the suitcase armor scene. That's one that gives you goosebumps when you see it on the big screen, but having it released prior to the film stole some of the magic. Iron Man1 did a better job of hiding the "money" scenes.

Having seen it, probably the best scenes involving Thor fighting like a master is when he's smashing Frost Giants with Mjolnir - but there's many others too, of course.

the fight with Loki is cool on many levels. the emotional depth to it surprised me. There is a sense of reluctance yet the personal growth of thor's journey shines though. Quite sad the finish of it .

Did Thor and Loki perform a good amount of powerful attacks?

Don't spoil too much

Too bad the plot in the 2nd movie was nearly impossible to follow.

Like I just don't get it they needed the 'key' to start the machine to consume the sun, but it was used to bring prime back to life....

so, how did the machnine in the pyramid start?

That along with countless other strange things still baffle me, I gave up on the headache of trying to figure things out.

Watch closely, the Fallen teleports down, grabs the Matrix midway through the process of reviving and teleports back to the top of the pyramid to start up the machine. That's why they need Jetfire's spark and pieces to fully revive Optimus.

Thats good I am hoping it would be an emotional yet action packed fight .

since kenneth was directin i was pretty sure the movie would rock on the storyline part...
i am just worried about the action sequences....
i have read positive and negative reviews on it...
can someone who have seen the film tell me how the fight scenes played out by comparing action of other films like X2, IM1?? (excluding spoilers)
the w9 is killin me and i hope the action scenes are worth the w8..

The Frost Giant scene must be good because ALOT of people who have seen the movie are raving about it.

Yeah That's what I've heard too. Even early on from screening's people were raving about those scenes
