It's probably been mentioned, but is there anyway to make the thread Manager more 'friendly'? I feel like I live in a militarized state (which I practically do in reality).

Could he have a nicer name.. like Thread Minimizer or something?

Could his ending and greeting posts be nicer, like:

"Hey ho! Created a new thread, hope you all like it! You can find it here!"

"Howdy! Welcome to the new thread! Looking for the hijinks of the old one? Here's a linkie!"

Maybe it could be changed up like every 6 months so he stays hip and fresh?

Other alternative's:

"You say goodbye [newlink]"

"I say hello [oldlink]"

----

"Well this one was nice, here, have a new one [newlink]"

"Have fun screwing this one up! Like the one before [oldlink]"

I know it's not Thread Manager's fault but the lag is incredibly annoying.

I still think that posts for a thread should still be increased from 1000 to at least 2500 or 5000. Thread Manager handling only 1000 posts was supposed to be a short term solution, if i remember.

I thought they were thinking of ways to best utilize Thread Manager, and yet nothing has changed since it was implemented. With all due respect to the Web staff, it feels lazy.

Yup, the lag has gotten worse since the implementation of Thread Manager.

Thread Manager has taken over! We must fight back!
