This thread is for we ladies to talk about current issues that women are experiencing, or even just to ask for fashion advice or what new mascara to buy!

"Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to climb up and reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt.

Instead, they sometimes take apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. The apples at the top may think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree."

Please note:

*Men are welcome, but please stay on subject and don't just come in to make a lame joke or to be creepy.

*THIS IS NOT A LOUNGE. Please refrain from coming in just to say "hi guys!" or tell us that you're going to bed. Keep lounge talk in the lounge thread.

I bought perfume the other day, and I felt uncomfortably girly. But it had a cartoon character on the bottle so I didn't feel quite so bad about it.

I always feel weird walking through those stores where the employees walk around spraying the customers with perfumes. Like I'm in a mine-field.

i am a man and i feel uncomfortable buying cologne or axe stuff. i dont know why.

could he guys ask girls questions if need be? serious uns?

Hello Kitty perfume is awesome... I have the tiny bottle one that you wear around your neck.

On a slightly different track, do any of you ladies feel you get the respect in a teamwork environment ? be it college, school or a job.

at my job I do. but, i must inform that there's like a 6:1 girl to guy ratio, if not higher. so yeah, we definitely got the edge there

in other workplaces, i'd think not so much

Aren't mods supposed to get all the information and then take action?

I usually close a thread and then do a quick search for the reason or find the original thread of the same subject

Hell no I don't. The younger blokes respect my opinion and well...fear me but the older guys wish I'd ****. :o
So, I've come to terms with it and when they see I'm right I just keep the gloating inside, I'll continue to offer up my advice but I know there's no need in getting all indignant.

Usually I do... However, there are times when guys think they can get away with the dumbest things just because I'm a "sweet looking girl". Lmfao, and then reality crashes down upon them when I...correct them.
:woot:

Oh and even if you don't look "sweet"... It still happens. You're either a dumb girly girl or trashy chick to some, not all, men.

At my job I did. There was mostly guys but still quite a few girls and everyone got along. Especially during closing time, we all complained around that time to our boss to let us go already.:o

Btw, I  your avvy so much right now.

I'm respected at my job, mostly because I've been there a good amount of time. I have had male bosses try to 'spare' me from the 'hard work', though.

Majority of the guys I have worked with in the past have been pretty lazy. :o
