Marvel has screwed up big time with their latest issue of Wolverine.

Wolverine healing from nothing but skeleton?? Not only should Wolverine have died, but the speed he healed was astounding! It only took a couple of panels!!! What the hell???

Seriously, you don't have to look back many issues to find Wolverine being in pain and struggiling after a few stabs. So this is incredibly inconsistant.

It's massively inconsistant with Wolverine's established healing times. It's really idiotic. It now means that Wolverine is pretty much immortal. It shows that not just the writer is an idiot, but also whoever was the editor in charge of this issue. The script should never have been approved!! The writer should be sacked.

Boycott Wolverine.

I don't think I would ever boycott Wolverine but you both have a point.

How did we get from Millar/Romita Jr ... to this, in few short months??

I don't care what anyone says imo Ramos cannot draw ....... its bad art plain and simple.

It almost makes me wonder if the whole skeleton thing was just a mistake ... maybe the writer just wanted Wolvie to look very badly burned??

As was said above ... Logan heals FAST but often needs to rest for a few hours to recover. Just a strange issue ......

If it wasn't for Astonishing Xmen where he's more vulnerable and less of a glory hog, I'd boycott his ass too.

I think it's really time to let Marvel know that their editors need to start doing their jobs. **** like this should NEVER happen.

I haven't been all that crazy about the Origin book anyhow. I don't think this book is going to last long since it's been so poorly executed and out of character.

Ok, im not going to stop buying Wolverine, i actually like Ramos artwork, i saw the infamous panels of the skeleton, and i hate those , but i like the art, the title ill stop buying its ORIGINS, that one really sucks big time, that's my part of the boycott

Wolverine has sickened me for quite a while. I've even read his series to try and see what everyone is so psyched about and I couldn't find it. He's just an okay character. I think he's popular because everyone 'thinks' he's popular, nowadays.

Wolverine is not that popular. Marvel and the media only make him seem like he is b/c they overexpose him too much.:o I've been so sick of the overrated guy myself that I've been boycotting him for 6 years and I'm gonna keep boycotting him until he starts to only appear in one X book and until the media stops making everything just about him.

Sorry but i really needed to bring this thread back...As big a fan of Wolverine as I am (I loved him in all the old comics, the 90's cartoon, and x1-x2) I really think that someone should let marvel know that theyre overexposing and also ruining the Wolverine character...I miss the days when Wolverine was like the ultimate underdog, the one that was in love with Jean Grey but couldnt get her cuz she had scott, and the one that healed fast but could still be killed rather easily...No matter what I am always gonna like the comics/cartoon version of Wolverine over the movie ones...Reason being he wasnt the star, he was the outcast.

"Could be killed rather easily"? I don't know about that, but there was a time where the villains he fought presented a threat to him. After the Nitro regeneration incident though, what could possibly present itself as a threat to him? The guy was reduced to a skeleton and came back in full form in a matter of seconds. There's no suspense now. There's no "Gee, how's he going to get out of this one?". None of that stuff. Because once you've regenerated from nothing, you're completely invincible.

Yea i shouldve worded it better...Youre completely right about the fact that there's no suspense anymore with him, theyve wrote him so he's basically immortal now, there still needs to be a chance of someone being able to kill him otherwise he becomes completely uninteresting.

well, from the cover of issue 11 or Origin, theres a chance that he could be getting more interesting again....

I heard that his increasing levels of regeneration will be addressed... so wel just have to wait and see how it plays out.

You can thanks this to the end of X-Men 3 and FOX. They are making him more like the movies.

I wonder if someone spiked his drink with the power enhancers thay gave Nitro

Well, continuity has NEVER been Marvel's strong point. Usually things get out of hand for about two years, then they just retcon everything.
It's almost impossible to boycott wolverine, since he appears in 99.87% of their titles now. Comic companies should have personel whose sole job is to strive for consistancy, completely seperate from the editors. A sort of "quality control." This would also address my biggest complaint about comic books-the ridiculous way artists approach drawing the characters. You will read a character's bio, and it will read..."5'8", 205 lbs, with the strength and stamina of a man his height, weight and age that engages in reagular intensive exercise." but the character will be drawn looking 6'8" and weighing 385 lbs. Then, when an actor is chosen to portray the character is actually close to the bio, fanboys allover scream bloody murder because he doesnt look like he weighs in at the 385 lbs.

It is stupid because many an end in a what if was wolverine DYING through being burned down to the skeleton.

Several months ago I said Wolverine was an Omega mutant. I've come to terms with it. 'Bout time everyone else does too. Y'know especially since you're all going to keep up your collections. :p

Wolverine's current healing abilities really make his old enemies look silly. What are Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike or ninjas going to do to him now? Keep poking him with sharp objects?
