Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

To be expected. In LeCarre's books it's all about dialogue, deft interrogation, and George Smiley is the master. I so can't wait for this.

I'm a bit anxious, because I haven't been a big fan of any script written by Peter Straughan or Bridget O'Connor.

Hopefully having LeCarre's book as source material will help compensate.

Soon isn't soon enough.

This is all so exciting. I'm gonna hold off till like a week before the release to reread the book though.

Oldman with the stache = more successful than what everybody else in the world can accomplish

Wasn't Peter Morgan the scriptwriter?

*checks wikipedia*

Ok he was but he dropped out after the first draft. Which is balls but I still have hope.

This is my most anticipated film of 2011. I need a trailer ASAP.

Looking forward to the trailer, hope we get a glimpse of all the actors in the film.

Tinker Tailor Spy 1st Trailer

Give Oldman the Oscar already folks. I have a felling Gary Oldman and this movie will be big. Looks great.

The talent involved is off the charts (including that of who's sitting in the directorial chair).

Just to clarify, the September release date is not for the States, right?

Yes, yes, yes, yes! ****ing outstanding!

:applaud

It's already one of my most anticipated films of this year, but dear god DAT trailer, it's edited very well and you can feel the tension creeping up on you.
My body is ready for this film.

I'm not sure how this flew under my radar, but jesus man: You got the director from 'Let the Right One In' and most likely one of the best group of actors ever assembled?

The pacing in this trailer is phenomenal. ****ing pumped.

Take my money now! I'll have tickets to more than one screening, a copy of the Blu-ray and anything else you're selling  Oldman is finally going to be given that oscar.

and Natalie Portman will be the one giving it to him so that would be extra cool.

Most definitely. I'd love to see them in another film together, now that you've mentioned it.

Trailer was okay. It was well edited but didn't get me excited. But nevertheless I am still excited for this movie. I forgot Mark Strong is in this too. That even adds to the already amazing cast.

I've never been so excited for a movie just by looking at the cast of names involved!

Firth? Finally just watched The King's Speech, and loved it of course. Oldman's always great. Hardy... Strong... Hurt... CUMBERBATCH! I had no idea he was in this until I saw the trailer and flipped my wig. I finished BBC's Sherlock series this weekend and now I absolutely adore Benedict. I'm stoked he's going to be in several of my most anticipated future projects: The Hobbit, War Horse, and now Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.

That trailer was damn excellent.

Oh man. As a Lecarre nerd, I'm freaking out. As a movie fan I'm excited.

I love that Hoytema is handling the camera, those still and almost painting-like shots in LTROI are beautiful!
