TMNT Prequel Comics from Mirage Studios

Mirage is going to release five prequel comics showing how the four turtles and April wind up where they are at the beginning of the movie:

Usually I don't give a damn about movie tie-in comics, but given Mirage's heavy involvement in this movie, its ties to the first movie, the lack of really good TMNT cartoons since Mirage's season 5 got bumped for Fast Forward, and my general desire to get more into TMNT comics, I'll be getting these.

Actually it might be color now. One of the two is, I think.

I'm pretty sure Tales of the TMNT is still black and white. Issues of the current TMNT series from Mirage haven't come out in so long that I don't really remember anything about it. Monthly TMNT comics would be great.

The comics are published by Mirage, which isn't Marvel or DC. So I'd say yes, this is the right forum.
