The Anemoi is a team I am creating of for individuals that are inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and mythology.
My idea is to have the four individuals each named after one of the Anemoi: Boreas, Eurus, Notus and Zephyrus.
They will reach be given a steed that is named after the Roman variation of the Anemoi (The Venti: Septentrio, Vulturnus, Auster and Favonius). They are all going to be pegasuses (pegasi?)), or they will be different kinds of horses, one pegasus, one unicorn, one that runs faster, and one with another distinction that I haven't thought of yet.
They will reach have their own girlfriend, each being named after the four Horae that are attributed to the seasons (Eiar, Theros, Cheimon and Phthinoporon), and each girlfriend will have the power to control whatever season they are named after.
I'm also going to be drawing inspiration from Egyptian mythology and have each Anemoi have a pet (or in one case a servant) that is based on oneoneof the four sons on Horus (Hapi the baboom, Duamutef the Jackal, Imsety the human and Qebehsenuef the falcon)
They are also going to be accomplished by a dwarf who will be based off the Norse variant of the four winds (Nordri, Austri, Sudri and Vestri). Instead of having these dwarfs be shorter than the Anemoi, I'm thinking of having them be there normal size before it was altered by J.R. Tolkien.
Lastly, they will have a weapon that is inspired by the weapons used in the Hindu variant of the door winds, the Guardians of the Directions (a mace, thunderbolts, a staff and a noose), which I might have them be created by the Norse deserves as that was there dwarves role in Norse mythology.
Each of the groups I liste, with the exception of the Horae, are inspired by directional deities.
I would like opinions on all of this. Should I have their horses be different kinds of horses? If so, what would be a good ideas to use to differentiate the fourth horse? Should I have the dwarves be short, or should I keep them as they were originally portrayed? As far as the Sons of Horus, should I have them be humans who can turn into theory respective animals, or just leave them as animals?
