To Redditors, What Is Your Favorite Subreddit?

r/Android
r/AndroidGames
r/AndroidGaming

Why the latter two are kept separate has always bothered me, but meh.

Yeah, reddit works oddly like that. I think because users can create their own subreddits, mods don't want to over step their bounds too much. Just like there is r/gifs and r/gif. Almost the exact same thing.

That's the magic of reddit. I can say that each community has a distinct character, despite covering the same subject. AndroidGames tends to be news and discounts where as AndroidGaming seems more dedicated to discussing games and recommendations. I still think both subreddits could be one community, but I suppose it works out if the mods are trying to take a hands off approach.

My friend loves r/WTF. It's one of the most popular ones and is quite interesting aside from the occasional gross pic. And that's never nearly as bad as 4chan. I still gag a little bit from some of the gifs I was too curious not to click on from that site.

r/movies
r/comicbooks

Seriously those two. And any shows I'm currently obsessing over. I remember the r/TrueDetective being a nutso bannaza every week.

I love r/comicbooks because there is always a lively discussion about anything.

True, good point. Now that you mention that, something like r/books and r/literature are very similar, but have very distinct characteristics.

If we're talking about the worst of the worst of 4chan, I'm not sure a lot on the internet can best 4chan at its worst.

I think my problem with r/wtf is that I only manage to pay attention when it is the super gnar stuff. :barf:

Yeah, lots of good stuff over there. When I saw Alan Moore was doing an AMA I geeked out.
