I've never understood the concept of letting folks go and then spreading their work amongst those who are left. That sort of thing never ends well.![]()
yeah it sucks. when sequestration hit, everyone's hours got cut to whatever they were supposed to get, based on their SF-50s. In the past 10 months i've gone from 39 hours a week and now that furlough is in place, i'm down to 21 a week.
some people were down to 16 hours per week, working 2-4 days. people don't want to work four 4-hour work days and some can't afford it, so i can't fault them for resigning to find better jobs to support their families.
