I hope this movie gets me back on the Tom Hardy train. Dude used to be like my favorite actor, but after suffering through two of those awful Venom movies and half of that aimless Bikeriders nonsense (and some other stuff I’m forgetting) it’s hard to get excited for anything he’s in these days. But Gareth Evans gives me hope. Hopefully he can get a good performance out of Hardy because it seems like no one else can lately.

Eh, I thought he was really good in the Bikeriders. I wanted more of action type flick, but Jeff Nichols flicks has never been that. I also get it! Hardy fits the whole Brando persona to a T and you get him in a motorcycle, and it kinda felt like a diet mt dew version of Goodfellas, and feels like a meh, but it also reminded me how good he is.
