Tom Holland reuniting with the Russo Brothers for "Cherry"

Boseman and Lindo are 100% deserving. For me Ahmed in Sound of Metal is the only other Best Actor contender that even comes close. But I definitely think that one of Boseman or Lindo should win, regardless of other factors that may or may not be in play.

But sure, there are movies like Cherry and The White Tiger that haven't dropped just yet. I tend to think it will be a little too late for any movies that aren't released in the next couple weeks.

Did you saw the father? Its a close match between Hopkins and Boseman by now.

@Schlosser85 I think TD = True Detective.

Beat me to it :argh:

Finally a clip, though doesn’t really tell us much.

Here’s the first social media reactions from a screening.

Robert Downey Jr. moderated a live Q&A with Tom and the Russos tonight.

That tone in that clip was troublesome considering the way it's been marketed so far. I can see from here why some of the criticisms say it's a bit of a mess.

Watched the clip. Liked it. Has a Jarhead vibe

The drama he makes...
There is no way that this movie will be the worst movie of the year with all this cheesy netflix teenager drama and stupid horror movies like Countdown or Becoming. As expected mixed reviews. It seems the Russo Bros have taken over so far. I smell the same problem like The Devil All The Time had with the narrative.

It seems like all the early reviews on letterboxd are negative so far.

Yea, I follow him on Instagram and he got pretty skinny and worn out looking for a while there during filming. At one point the Russos took an unscheduled week off to give him a break.

Tom confirmed on his Twitter that the trailer comes out on the 14th.

Tonally it does look all over the place. So far, it actually reminds me of "Dead Presidents" which has a similar problem, but was so well made it was easier to overlook it's issues.

Looks interesting but have a lot of stuff to handle. Critics hate this already, lets see what audience do with this.

That's what I immediately expected after I read the comment

-Dry humor-Okay so he's not good at robbing banks (He has the message right side up and corrects himself)

-"Don't be rude to bank employees who are women"

-Coming of Age story

-Love story

-War movie?

-A look into PTSD?'

This reminds me of "Vice" with Christian Bale. Was it a comedy? Was it a drama? The movie sometimes pulls me of it when it does cut away imagery and things like that

Cheney hooks Bush

*Insert imagery of a fish being caught on a hook*
